Somewhere along the way…
she stopped introducing herself by her career…
or her hobbies…
or even her own accomplishments.
Now she’s known as…
“Weston’s mom.”
“Merrick’s mom.”
“The one loading the gear.”
“The one washing muddy gear at 11 p.m.”
“The one with the snacks.”
“The one cheering louder than anyone else.”
And honestly…
She’s proud of that.
Because while everyone notices the kid standing on the podium…
Very few notice the woman who woke up before sunrise…
packed the trailer…
worked all week…
missed girls’ weekends…
stretched every dollar…
held back tears after bad motos…
celebrated the good ones…
and somehow found the strength to do it all again next weekend.
Moto moms don’t just raise riders.
They raise young men who learn discipline…
respect…
humility…
and what it means to keep getting back up after life knocks you down.
The trophies will collect dust someday.
But the character she helped build…
that lasts forever.
