Updated Fall hours: The shop and fuel dock are currently open everyday from 6AM–8PM.

As the days start getting a little cooler and we head toward fall, we wanted to give everyone a quick update on our current hours.

Fall fishing is right around the corner, and we’ll be here to keep you stocked up, fueled up, and ready for whatever the next season brings. We appreciate everyone who has stopped by and supported us all summer long!

Labor Day weekend is looking pretty good for getting out on the water!

Sunday and Monday are shaping up to be the highlight days, while Friday and Saturday look to have some better windows earlier in the morning. Rain chances are also trending down as we get closer to the weekend, so keep an eye on the forecast and take advantage of the good windows when they show up.

Whether you’re looking for drum, striped bass, cobia, or Spanish mackerel, there’s still plenty of fish around and plenty of season left to get after them. With cobia season winding down, there are still three weeks left to key in and get one in the ice box.

One of the biggest doormats we have seen this summer came through the shop this week👏

What an absolute stud of a flounder, weighing in at 8 lbs 3 oz and measuring 27 1/8” long! That’s a serious fish coming out of our local waters.

Congratulations on an incredible catch, and thanks for bringing it by Long Bay Pointe Bait & Tackle so we could check it out!

Whether it’s the 1st cobia or the 50th, these fish are always such a thrill to catch. There’s just something about seeing that fish come up on the boat that never gets old🔥

Cobia season may be winding down, but there’s still plenty of time to get out there and make one more memory on the water. Keep putting in the work and you might just find yourself hooked up with one of these incredible fish🎣

The flounder bite has been one of the most consistent things going this summer, and they’re keeping the rods bent🎣

We’ve been seeing a steady mix of flounder showing up, and with the bite staying strong this late into the summer, there’s still plenty of reason to get out there and put some time in on the water. Whether you’re targeting them specifically or just looking for something to keep the action going, the flounder have been doing their part🔥

The Cobia Killer himself is putting in the work while he’s in town!💯 the smiles on these guys faces say it all.

The legend himself is here in VB running charters and absolutely slaying the cobia and red drum! If you’ve been following along, you already know the quality of the jigs he makes, but what we really love is that Aaron doesn’t just make them… he fishes them. He's proving day after day that these jigs flat out catch fish. 🔥

Aaron is an awesome dude, an incredible fisherman, and someone who genuinely puts his products to the test on the water. He’s pretty booked up while he’s in town, but if you see an open slot, we highly recommend jumping on it. You’ll get to fish with a great guy and see firsthand why the Cobia Killer name has become so well known.

The weather may have made things difficult this week, but the fish didn’t disappear!

Between storms, wind, and rough conditions, getting a good window on the water was the biggest challenge. For those who timed it right and made the most of that clear stretch, the reward was there. Some solid cobia and a nice citation flounder hitting the deck! 🎣

We’re also starting to see more puppy drum showing up around the area. It’s about that same time of year when we saw the drum bite really turn on last season… so keep an eye out, because things could get exciting quickly! 👀
