Did you know Transmissions are just as vulnerable to overheating as your engine?
In the summer months it’s harder for your transmission to stay cool and keep everything lubricated properly.

Some of the most common signs:
• Burning smell coming from engine bay
• Transmission slipping, where the engine revs but the vehicle does not accelerate properly.
• Delayed or rough shifting between gears.
• Warning light on the dashboard, such as a transmission temperature or check engine light.
• Fluid leaks under the vehicle, especially red or brown fluid.
• Dark or burnt transmission fluid instead of clean red or pink fluid.
• Unusual noises, such as whining, humming, or grinding.
• Loss of power or poor acceleration.
• Vehicle goes into limp mode, limiting speed to protect the transmission.
• Transmission feels hot or the vehicle struggles after towing, climbing hills, or driving in heavy traffic.
