This customer was referred to us by another C5 owner to check out his oil leaks and look into a clutch issue he was having.

After inspecting both, we found that almost every gasket was leaking and that the Exedy twin disc clutch in the car was at the end of its life.

We opted to drop the subframe and pull the whole engine to do the repair; it just made more sense that way! Once we got the assembly dropped out, we went ahead and pressure washed everything to make sure we weren’t putting it back together with dirty parts.

After cleaning and resealing the whole engine, we installed a McLeod Racing twin disc clutch paired with their adjustable release bearing to handle the ~700hp that this thing makes with the help of its Paxton supercharger setup.

Once the engine was reinstalled we replaced the lower radiator support that was damaged from hitting something. This one is back together and ready to go, leak-free!

Spent this last week building and installing the 5.3L L83. Connecting rod bearings packed their bags and caused all kinds of disco party in the rest of the motor. New crank, new rod, refreshed the other 7 rods, honed the block, new rings, and assembly and we are back in the saddle again 😎 40 mile break in on the new motor and absolutely nothing suspicious when the filter was cut open to check. Ready to pick up on Monday and get some break in miles put on her!

If you guys guessed that we were doing a single turbo install on that beautiful MK4 Supra, you’d be correct! (You probably already knew it too let’s be real 🙄)

Powerhouse Racing turbo kit with a Precision Turbo & Engine 6466 NextGen, along with a Turbosmart eBoost3 boost controller setup and blow off valve to top it off.

Our guy Brandon Baden helped us out by welding up some charge pipe that we fit and adding the fl**ge for the BOV so we could get this one completed and back to the customer 💪🏼

After picking it up, the customer let us know he loved it and will be bringing it back to take it to the next level 🫣👀 stay tuned for this one!

We inspected this Acura today that has an intermittent RPM flare on some shifts. While on the test drive I also felt a subtle vibration while cruising.

Looking at the data and doing our own research, it appears that the torque converter for this 9-speed transmission is starting to show signs of failing.

This Ford Transit-connect came in because it was overheating… or so it thought 🤔

The cylinder head temperature sensor had been replaced multiple times, and the connector replaced at some point in time as well.

Turns out the sensor won’t read very good at all if the wiring repair wasn’t done very well and comes loose 😅. Made a quick wiring repair and it’s back to reading how it’s supposed to, no more “overheating”!

This 2005 Avalanche came in with a few problems needing addressed. Coolant leaks, driver’s window not working, power mirror issues, and a check engine light to top it off 😵‍💫

We found that the coolant steam port o-rings on this LS were broken (almost non-existent) and streaming fluid out when the system became pressurized. We went ahead and changed the back 2 o-rings along with the front ones. (Check comments for the video)

The driver’s window issue was due to a broken window regulator, and the power mirror issue was due to a bad mirror switch.

And the check engine light was on due to some bad oxygen sensors and a shorted oxygen sensor heater circuit wire that we able to find and repair.

We inspected this 2010 Wrangler a couple weeks ago due to the owner experiencing “death wobble” (IYKYK).

We found that 3 of the 4 tie rod ends had play in them, and also found that the stock track bar had worn bushings and the bar was actually flexing, causing a bunch of movement in the steering.

We installed new tie rod and drag link assemblies, along with an aftermarket Synergy Manufacturing track bar that is super beefy and will hold the axle nice and centered under the Jeep. To top it off we installed a Skyjacker dual steering stabilizer setup with it!

Also, we checked out his AC system and found out that the TIPM (totally integrated power module) is internally shorted and not sending power to the compressor clutch.

All of the engine and transmission mounts were replaced today on a customer’s 2005 Volvo XC90!
