Here are a couple more helpful tips to extend the life of your tires:
Your vehicle's tires should be rotated regularly, about every 5,000-6,000 miles.
For various reasons, all four tires on a car do not wear the same - a tire rotation allows for more even wear and an extended life for your tires.
When you have your tires rotated, you should also have your wheels balanced. Improperly balanced wheels will cause vibrations at high speeds, and this increases wear of shock absorber, struts, and suspensions.

Your tires are the most important part of your vehicle - they keep you safely on the road! Make sure you care for them by regularly checking your tire pressure.
An improperly inflated tire not only wears quicker, but it can also be dangerous when stopping and can cause tread separation.
Tire pressure should be checked whenever you suspect a problem, or at minimum, seasonally, as rising and falling temperatures can affect your tire pressure.
Check your vehicle's owner's manual to find where proper tire pressures are posted.
