My neighbor brought in his 1972 C10 for a few pulls on the dyno today after installing his 383ci crate engine from . Through a 2400-2800 stall speed torque converter and 2nd gear it made some healthy numbers and great torque! Definitely a huge upgrade over the engine he pulled out of it.

Yesterday I had this clean 2002 Trans Am owned by come in for a tune. It's a simple and classic bolt on LS1 combo straight out of the early 2000s that was putting belt to ass on Fords every weekend back in the day: aftermarket intake, LT headers and full exhaust, 3500-3800 stall speed TCI torque converter. No cam, stock 241 heads, stock injectors, and stock TB. It definitely needs a bit more gear (currently has factory 3.23 FD) but should be good for mid to low 12s as it sits. It laid down 322whp and made me feel like I was 17 again when my own car had these mods. It should be getting more mods in the near future!

First up today was this SBE A6 2010 Camaro SS with a Paxton supercharger kit from . It was built by here in town, and recently had the trans upgraded to a built unit. It also has LT headers and full exhaust, bigger injectors, and a few other odds and ends. The supercharger is pullied to make 8psi at redline for now. On pump 93 it laid down a solid 590whp and 530lbft of torque! On e85 this would easily be around 650whp.

Another 2009 C6Z brought over by made some great power today and is officially ready to hit the streets! This car has an unknown camshaft, but I'd guess a stage 2-ish size based on pretty good vacuum at idle. It's still on stock injectors and 93 pump gas, LT headers and full exhaust, upgraded clutch, and a CAI feeding a 102mm TB on a Atomic IM. The previous tune was overly aggressive and had lots of KR during the baseline pull I attempted before loading my file and getting to business. I removed about 5 degrees of timing, got rid of the KR, and picked up power over the previous tune. After all was said and done, it produced a torque-y and smooth 560whp and around 515lbft of torque!

Also back on the rollers yesterday was this beautiful 2009 C6Z brought over by . It was in need of a refreshed alternator (voltage problems last session) and a OEM 2 Bar MAP sensor. The ecu was updated to a 2 Bar OS with to help with part throttle boosted fuel enrichment, but the car was still primarily using the MAF to meter the air, as it is fairly capable on the gen4 vehicles. On e60 and almost 7psi of boost, the SBE LS7 laid down 750whp and 700lbft of torque on a fairly conservative spark map!

The supercharged 2002 C5Z built by was back on the dyno yesterday after being upgraded to a OEM 2 Bar MAP sensor, 1350cc injectors, and a DW400 fuel pump from . I was able to ditch the MAF and do a full SD tune now that the ecu can see boost. The upgraded OS also allows fuel enrichment to be dependent on manifold pressure, and not the typical GM method of TPS vs RPM. This leads to a much more pleasant driving experience at partial throttle. With proper fuel pressure and a reliable airflow measurement, power was up across the board, and on 7psi it made around 550whp and 515lbft of torque. Again, not much info is known on the engine (no compression or cam info), but this power should definitely be enjoyed by the owner and last a long time!

I've tuned this 2014 Silverado with a 6.2L swap a few times over the past couple of years. First it was bolt ons, then it was cammed, now it has a blower on 6psi, LT4 injectors and DI pump, and a flex fuel kit from . On e70-ish in 3rd gear, it laid down a solid 615whp with no drama at all!

This subtle 2009 A6 YSi C6 owned by and built by was back on the dyno yesterday after removing the old Air to Air intercooler for a watercooled unit from . We picked up a few pounds of boost, and therefore had to move up on injector size to some 1700cc units. I'd like to welcome the newest member of the +1000whp club. This pull looks like no drama, and that's because it is. This thing just eats. Can't wait to see some videos of it on the streets of SA putting belt to ass!

This 2009 C6Z was brought over by after a bunch of new goodies were installed: LS7 stage 4 blower camshaft and supporting valvetrain, lifters, 10-rib harmonic balancer, PRC LS7x cylinder heads, 850cc injectors, and a flex fuel kit. It already had a V3 supercharger kit from . It still needs a proper 2 or 3bar MAP sensor, and the battery voltage was starting to dip down around 11.5-12V above 5500rpm, but we broke right through the 700whp level at what I'd guess is around 4psi. It may see 5-6psi at 7000rpm, I had to lift early due to the voltage issues. Fuel was an e50 blend. The bugs will be sorted and it'll be back on for final numbers soon. Until next time!

Got a few of the nagging bugs sorted on my turbo K24 RSX, and I've been trying to give it a bit more regular seat time. We build these things to drive and enjoy them, and I'm reminded why I love this platform so much every time I take it out!
