“Wait, is that stock... or is it not?” 🤔
At our last event, we kept hearing the exact same thing:
“Man, it looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor, but something about it looks a little bit different...”
We absolutely love that, because it means we nailed the vision. This 1989 IROC-Z joined the fleet as a true time-capsule—low miles, incredibly clean, and original. Our goal wasn’t to tear apart that nostalgia, but to subtly elevate it into the ultimate third-gen.
Full ceramic tint all the way around to combat the brutal triple-digit Texas heat and support the factory AC.
Swapped out the dim, original yellow headlights for modern LED technology from Holley Performance Brands to brighten up the night while perfectly mimicking the classic original housing. New LED side markers assemblies, If the lights aren’t turned on, you’d never know they aren’t factory OEM.
We wanted massive sound without sacrificing the factory look. So while the dash remains completely original—including the factory head unit—everything is powered with a hidden Bluetooth system. We fabricated aluminum mounting plates in house to mount a component system from Focal Then upfront we dropped in a set of KICKER 4x6 speakers and have it all hidden right under the factory dash pad. Outback the bass is handled with KICKER Solo-Baric L7 sub and all powered by Kenwood USA amp.
This car doesn’t just look planted—it handles like it’s on rails at any speed. Full DSE setup at all four corners, featuring a 2” drop spring kit, Koni adjustable struts/shocks, and massive front/rear sway bars all tied together with a 3-point brace from Detroit Speed
17x9 IROC wheels at all four corners to give a modern flare with a beefier, wider tire contact patch without going overboard on the styling.
New calipers, new pads, and all-new brake hoses and lines at all four corners to ensure this car stops on command.
OPTIMA Batteries redtop pushing over 1000 amps out of custom mounted billet battery tray. Then all backed by Powermaster Performance alternator with beefed up 4-gauge electrical system.
