I have still not recovered emotionally from this. 🥹

I have seen them perform about a half a dozen times as a teenager thanks to a JoBro obsessed friend.

Getting to watch my daughter lose it in the same way as we used to was special.

This girl loves and feels music as much as I do and it is the best feeling ever. 🤍🥹

We could have waited until the kids were older, until we had more money saved, until life slowed down, or until everything made a little more sense.

But there will always be a reason to wait.

Going full-time in an RV isn’t for everyone, and it’s not always glamorous. But for our family, taking that leap gave us something we didn’t even realize we were missing: more time together.

You don’t have to do what we did. Just don’t let waiting for the perfect time keep you from doing something you’ve always wanted to do. ❤️

What’s something you’ve been waiting for the “right time” to do?

GEORGIA | Summer Trip Breakdown Series ☀️
🇺🇸STATE 1 of 18

We are breaking down all the family-friendly stops, state-by-state, that we took along our 15-week East Coast trip!

One afternoon in Savannah with kids, and we packed in a little history, some sightseeing, and plenty of time to just let them play. 🤍

We started at Wormsloe Historic Site, took the wagon ride, made our way through Savannah’s historic streets, ate dinner on River Street watching the boats pass by, and ended at the Forsyth Park playground.

We’re sharing what we actually did in each state on our summer RV trip — including the stops we loved, the kid-friendly activities, and what we’d do again!

3 things we learned after dropping our RV off for a service assessment… and number 3 is one we REALLY should have known better. 😂

We dropped our RV off on a Friday expecting a 24–48 hour assessment and to have it back Monday or Tuesday at the latest.

Instead… we didn’t pick it up for 10 days. 😳

Here’s what we learned:

1️⃣ Don’t believe the 24–48 hour timeline.
Ask questions, get realistic expectations, and prepare for it to take longer.

2️⃣ If you’re full-time, ask about a “waiting appointment.”
We found out at pickup that you can request this, which means you don’t drop the RV off until the service department is actually ready to start. Apparently, the turnaround is typically much shorter this way. We’ll see how it goes once warranty is cleared and service actually begins. 👀

3️⃣ EMPTY. YOUR. FREEZER.
We expected the RV to be there for a couple of days, and because one of our issues involved the battery/voltage depleting rapidly and not recovering, we expected the RV to have power while it was there.

Instead, this baby sat there for almost a week before anyone even walked into it. 🫠

Our frozen veggies did NOT survive that timeline. And when we opened the RV back up… let’s just say the tanks smelled pleasant compared to what we walked into. 🤢😂

Full-time RVers: what’s something you learned the hard way after taking your RV in for service?

Save this one before your next service appointment! 🚐

Throwback to June when we thought $4.60 diesel was BAD… 😅💸

Here are the things we actually use to save at the pump for diesel AND gas…

⛽️ 7-Eleven Rewards — we stack the available rewards/discounts when we can and BIGGER savings on the 7th and 11th of the month, we have saved over a $1 per gallon before!

💳 OnePay Card — we use the fuel cash back—especially Wednesdays, fuel off to $1.20 off! WE HAVE GOTTEN $355.78 CASH BACK SINCE JUNE🤯

🚛 Open Roads — especially helpful for diesel discounts at participating stations.

📱 Upside — we check for available cash back before filling up.

🗺️ GasBuddy — our go-to for comparing prices nearby and finding cheaper fuel along our route.

⛽️ Sam’s Club — we check their fuel prices first, especially when we’re filling up the truck.

None of these are going to make diesel or gas cheap 😂 but stacking a few savings here and there can add up FAST when you’re traveling as a family.

How do you save at the pump!?

Anyone else’s kid magical?

Wait for the reversal 🤣🤣

Also apparently words were hard for me in that moment 🤦🏼‍♀️😅

Months of travel + 43 feet of RV = A LOT of road grime. 😂

Our big girl was seriously overdue for a bath, so Derek put the Poli Glow Detailing Kit to the test on that front cap. 👀

The before & after speaks for itself. ✨

We are testing their ceramic kit products next to give the whole RV extra shine and protection!

Even if the forecast looks fine.
Even if it’s barely windy.
You just never know.

And before anyone asks…there was no way for us to help as the awning was not manually retractable. 😬

🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏼raise your hand if your awning has been personally victimized by the wind🤣

Let’s take a moment and pray that everything is covered since we are still under warranty. 🙏🏻

…but we all know what’s actually going to happen. 🙄🤣

How long did your house on wheels go off to war?
