IMPORTANT COMMUNITY SAFETY ALERT 🚨

Residents,

We recently had three individuals going through the park trying car door handles to see if vehicles were unlocked. Unfortunately, they were able to enter one vehicle because it had been left unlocked.

Please take a few minutes every evening to make sure your property is secure. Lock your vehicles, sheds, and homes. Keep valuables out of sight, and make sure bicycles, tools, outdoor equipment, and other valuable items are locked, chained, or otherwise secured.

Most importantly, we need to look out for one another. If you see unfamiliar individuals, suspicious activity, or something that simply does not look right, please contact law enforcement immediately. If you believe a crime is occurring or there is an immediate danger, call 911. For suspicious activity that is not an emergency, contact the police non-emergency number.

Please do not wait until the next morning to report suspicious activity to management. By then, it may be too late for law enforcement to respond effectively.

We have tried very hard to organize a Neighborhood/Block Watch, but unfortunately we have not had enough participation to get it going. In light of this recent activity, we strongly encourage residents to become involved.

If you are interested in participating in the Block Watch, please reach out to your HOA President, Jim.

Our community is safest when neighbors look out for neighbors. Please stay alert, secure your belongings, and report suspicious activity when you see it.

IMPORTANT COMMUNITY SAFETY NOTICE

Dear Residents,

I cannot stress this enough: if you see someone in the park who appears suspicious or is behaving suspiciously, please contact the police immediately.

Do not assume that someone else has already called. If something does not look right, please report it. Even if you do not believe the situation is an emergency, you can call the police non-emergency number at 727-582-6200 and explain exactly what you are seeing, where the person is located, and any other details you can safely provide.

For an immediate threat, crime in progress, or emergency, call 911.

Please do not approach or confront a suspicious person. Keep a safe distance and allow law enforcement to handle the situation.

The safety and security of our residents and our community are extremely important. We all need to look out for one another and be aware of what is happening around us. Your willingness to report suspicious activity could help prevent a serious situation.

Good Morning Southernaire family! Don’t forget we will have our community yards sales on Friday and Saturday. We still have some tables available in the clubhouse. If you are interested please sign up in the clubhouse. We also will have a flyer available at the clubhouse for the buyers to pick up when they come into the park so be sure and sign up so I can put your lot number on the list! Let’s have a fun filled weekend and hopefully we will all make some money!
