Since revealing Collateral's make over at this year's Easter Jeep Safari, we've had a lot of folks asking about the stereo head unit and switch kit.
HERE IT IS : It's an in-house fabricated adapter for the factory double din stereo housing and dash bezel. The stereo head unit is a Wet Sounds MC-20 ( It's basically a boat audio system - perfect for the Jeep life!!! ) The switch kit is a simple Amazon-find 6 channel that we sell a lot for JK clients at the shop (Yes this unit is very reliable, we've had 100% good feedback). However, we wanted to give more of a buggy-style collection for the stereo head unit and switch combo area. Obviously the supplied rocker gang switch box would no longer work for us, since the cage install, so we opted to Fabricate a switch set into the dead space that the Wet Sounds head unit would offer.
This powers a-pillar lights, rock lights, our ARB compressor, both front and rear lockers, and a purge solenoid for the ARB compressor.
We've packaged this entire audio system and switch kit, so we can recreate this for YOUR JKU!! Yes, we kept templates and record of the build and have proven that this head unit, amp, sub, and towers peakers are a GREAT setup for JKs who want to run topless and not stress about weather (remember this is a bapt audio system) and demands EPIC SOUND. Believe me, it's epic! Ask anyone who met us on the trails and streets of Moab this past month.
