We never enjoy making those surprise calls, but if we need to make additional repairs and spend extra TIME, it's always the right call. Many jobs have surprises and detours. We've got over 20 years of experience and spare parts collected to help us prevent major costs and extreme downtimes, waiting for parts.

The unfortunate side of it is the bottle-neck of aspect. Workflow never can be a guarantee in our line of work and we always appreciate clients that understand and know that when it's THEIR TIME in the shop, we aren't letting others behind them pressure us through the task at hand.

Thank you to everyone who's been doing business with us for many years and know that we will never rush someone out the door over doing something right.

This build has come a LONG way in just 2 years. All that's left is coilovers, triangulated suspension, and an Atlas transfer case. We never officially did a build video for Collateral with all the new updates, so here we go! If we captured every little step and fab job, we'd have a 10 minute reel, be glad we didn't. Instead, here's a fun little build recap with our favorite shots up in Moab, during EJS.

If you give a Jeep a TeraFlex Long Arm suspension, it deserves MotoBilt flares and skid plate system, then a cargo tire carrier, and it will eventually ask for high steer knuckles. Someone's about to advance their game on the rocks! Be careful when you give those Jeeps a new long arm kit 😅

Got the official 60th Anniversary EJS Badge of Honor in the mail! I love the irony that this year was Collateral's big break out trip and the badge matches him to a T! Since revealing Collateral's make over at this year's Easter Jeep Safari, we've had a lot of folks asking about the stereo head unit and switch kit.

HERE IT IS : It's an in-house fabricated adapter for the factory double din stereo housing and dash bezel. The stereo head unit is a Wet Sounds MC-20 ( It's basically a boat audio system - perfect for the Jeep life!!! ) The switch kit is a simple Amazon-find 6 channel that we sell a lot for JK clients at the shop (Yes this unit is very reliable, we've had 100% good feedback). However, we wanted to give more of a buggy-style collection for the stereo head unit and switch combo area. Obviously the supplied rocker gang switch box would no longer work for us, since the cage install, so we opted to Fabricate a switch set into the dead space that the Wet Sounds head unit would offer.

This powers a-pillar lights, rock lights, our ARB compressor, both front and rear lockers, and a purge solenoid for the ARB compressor.

We've packaged this entire audio system and switch kit, so we can recreate this for YOUR JKU!! Yes, we kept templates and record of the build and have proven that this head unit, amp, sub, and towers peakers are a GREAT setup for JKs who want to run topless and not stress about weather (remember this is a bapt audio system) and demands EPIC SOUND. Believe me, it's epic! Ask anyone who met us on the trails and streets of Moab this past month.

Parking lot maintenance with some new shop goodies. I've been wanting a Mojab jack for travel wrenching and made good use of the vendor show today at EJS and scored a steal of a deal. Grabbed lunch and hit the hotel for some break-in maintenance on the new axles. Accessing all the cover bolts was a cinch for the new Mojab bottle jack. Then the new hood vents arrived from DV8, to replace the Amazon vents that flew off on the haul up here 😑. Much better fitment and securely clipped in 👌🏼

EJS 2026 Day 4 - Metal Masher trail. * Swung by the 60th anniversary event Jeep booth. * Got some anniversary swag * Taco Party with my Revolution Gear and Axle boys and scored a couple new edition Revolution shirts! (This year Kevin didn't have to give me the literal shirt off his back! 😅) * Finished the day with getting the Jeep covered back up for overnight rains and then * Discovered Gilberto's SELLS FLAN!!!!
