That engine tick? A ticking time bomb! 🔧
45 minutes on the road, 3.5 hours under the hood, and one 3.6L Pentastar running smooth again!
The culprit? A failed rocker arm that could’ve led to some serious camshaft damage. Luckily, we caught it in time. 12 new rockers and 12 new lash adjusters later, that nasty tick is GONE!

This was supposed to be an oil leak repair… then I opened it up. 😳

Broken timing chain guide, loose chain, and pieces sitting in the oil pan.

Two days later, this Equinox was back together and back on the road. 🔧

🚗 What does a BAD shock actually look like?

This customer was dealing with a bouncy ride, and once the old rear shocks came off, the problem was pretty obvious. Check out the difference between the failed shock and the brand-new replacement!

Best part? The entire repair was done right in her driveway.

Sometimes a small concern can uncover a much bigger problem 🔧

Today’s visit started with an oil change and inspection on this Acura TL. The customer wanted me to give the vehicle a once-over while I was there, just to see if anything needed attention.

That inspection uncovered several steering, suspension, and maintenance concerns that could now be addressed before they became even bigger problems. I documented everything I found and put together a complete repair estimate so the customer can decide how they’d like to move forward.

While I was there, he also asked if I could take a look at his Ford Fusion that had been involved in an accident. I inspected the Ford at no additional charge and put together a separate repair estimate for that vehicle as well.

Sometimes it pays to have something checked out, even when you’re not sure there’s anything wrong.

Think a mobile mechanic only does small repairs? This Volvo needed FOUR wheel bearings. 🔧

This 2008 Volvo XC90 came to me for all four wheel bearings, and it definitely put me to work.

Four old hubs out, four new ones in, and back on the road. While I was in there, I also found a missing strut nut and took care of that at no additional charge.

Jobs like this are exactly why I started CO Mobile Mechanics. You don’t always need to drop your vehicle off at a shop and figure out rides for the day — sometimes the shop can come to you.

Need work done without leaving your driveway? Send me a message for a quote or to get on the schedule. 🔧

A little different perspective on this one 👀🔧

One of my customers documented the process while I replaced all four wheel hub assemblies on his V8 Volvo XC90 and put together this awesome reel!

It’s pretty cool getting to see my work from the customer’s side of things. Huge thank you to Taosif for trusting me with the XC90 and for putting this together!
