Happy Nevada Day from Reno Vulcanizing! 💙

Our story began in 1922 when Italian immigrants Augustino “Gus” Besso and Frank Menante opened Reno Vulcanizing Works in a small shop on N Virginia Street. What started as a tire and rubber repair business grew through the Great Depression, World War II and more than a century of change in the Biggest Little City.

Today, Reno Vulcanizing remains family-owned, with three locations serving Reno and Sparks and the distinction of being the oldest continuously operating independent Goodyear dealership in the country.

We’re grateful to the generations of customers and employees who have been part of our story. Our roots run deep in the Silver State and we couldn’t be prouder to call ourselves Nevadans!
