🏁🚲 WHAT A GREAT BMX CLINIC! 🚲🏁

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out for Coach Griffin’s BMX Clinic! 🙌 It was such a great time, and the kids learned so much while putting in some serious work on the track. 💪🔥

And of course, a big THANK YOU to Coach Griffin for taking the time to work with our riders, share his knowledge, and help them continue building their skills and confidence. We appreciate you! 💙

We are making progress ! We will be doing some test runs of set up for our point of sale system, along with how to travel with everything needed & packed for racing for sales and fun!

Tomorrow we will set up at the Mingus Mountain BMX track during racing. Give us a hello as we embark on this adventure!

🏁🌭 IT’S RACE DAY + HOT DOG POTLUCK NIGHT! 🌭🏁

It’s Thursday, which means it’s time for another night of racing with our Mingus Mountain BMX family! 🚲💨

🏁 Racing: 7:00 PM

For tonight’s Hot Dog Potluck, we have plenty of hot dogs and buns, and it sounds like Joe Cavalho will be manning the BBQ! 🙌🔥 Thank you, Joe!

We could still use a few things to round out dinner:

🌭 Backup BBQ person — just in case!
🥔 Chips
🥗 Side dishes
🥤 Drinks
🌶️ Chili dog fixings — chili, cheese, onions, or whatever you love on your chili dogs!

If you’re able to bring something, we appreciate it SO much! Our Thursday potlucks are something our BMX families put together, and every person who pitches in helps keep it fun and easy for everyone. ❤️

We have a Mingus Mountain BMX BAND group, and we would LOVE for all of our track families to join!

Everything will still be posted on our regular social media pages, but BAND will give us one place where our BMX families can easily stay in communication about everything happening at the track.

We’ll use the app for things like:

September is here, and we’re ready for another month of racing, riding, and community! 🏁💨

🌭 THURSDAY HOT DOG POTLUCKS 🌭
Don’t forget that Thursdays are Hot Dog Potluck nights! 🌭❤️

We absolutely LOVE seeing families bring something to share and pitching in to make Thursday nights a little more fun for everyone. Whether it’s hot dogs, chips, drinks, dessert, or anything else—every contribution helps! It truly takes our BMX family working together to make these nights special. 🫶

🦺 WE NEED OUR BMX FAMILY! 🦺

We are always looking for corner marshals and track members willing to help spray the track.

Corner marshals are so important to keeping our races safe and running smoothly. Having eyes around the track helps our riders, especially our younger and newer racers, stay protected and allows our volunteers to quickly respond when something happens.

And spraying the track isn’t just about making it look good—it helps keep the dirt packed, smooth, and rideable, while reducing dust and helping maintain the track surface our riders depend on.

💙 But here’s the thing: it takes all of us.

It’s not easy to keep a track in top-notch condition when only one or two people are consistently stepping up to do the work. Our volunteers give their time because they care about the riders and this track, but they shouldn’t have to carry the responsibility alone.

If you’re a parent, grandparent, rider, or track member, please consider jumping in when you can. Even helping for a little while makes a difference!

Every time someone grabs a hose, takes a corner, helps clean up, or volunteers during a race, you’re helping make Mingus Mountain BMX a safer, better, stronger track for everyone. 🏁💙

We appreciate every single person who continues to show up, pitch in, and support our BMX family. Thank you for helping us keep Mingus Mountain BMX racing! 🙌

🌭 HOT DOG POTLUCK! 🌭

We want to take a moment to clarify something about our Thursday night hot dog potluck. This is not something the track puts on or pays for.

This has been made possible by a few awesome BMX families who have generously purchased and brought hot dogs, buns, chips, drinks, and other items. We also have some families who prefer to contribute by donating money toward the potluck. ❤️

We would LOVE to have more parents join in!

If you’d like to help, we could use:

🔥 Help with BBQing and serving

Whether you bring a package of hot dogs, donate a few dollars, or help cook for a little while, every contribution is appreciated!
