Post #2 of the day! We're working with some folks in the mall to see if we can sort out a new venue for racing! Details to be sorted, but expect at least one 1/24 track, a drag strip, and likely a return of the Carrera track for 1/32 racing action! Fingers crossed!

Hi Folks! For anybody looking to get into Tiny Whoop drone racing, it looks like I can get a basic, all-in-one kit for about $200, or I can build you an upgraded version with a decent, entry-level radio, faster motors (easier to fly!), and basic FPV goggles for about $275+ (depending on options). I highly recommend the upgraded version, as the stock radios have some dead spots that are a bit frustrating... I recently put the first level of upgraded motors in mine, and it's worlds better than stock! Easier to maintain altitude, better flight times, and extremely nimble.

Strange! I could have sworn I had posted about setting up a drone racing league, but the post seems to have disappeared. That being the case, I apologize if this is a duplicate! :)

I'm considering setting up some drone racing at the same location. To start, we would run Tiny Whoops (first person view, affordable, durable drone racing), with the option to expand to larger drones (such as the 210 class). Anybody interested? Additionally, this is something I can eventually do for parties.

Howdy Folks! We're looking to expand to drone racing and sales at the same location. Who's interested? We'll start with the inexpensive side of the market, with Tiny Whoop first person view (FPV) racing. These drones are readily available under $200, and racing seems to be quite entertaining. They're very durable, and can easily be raced indoors. Hi All! Who'd be interested in some 1/32 and/or 1/24 scale drag racing? I'm tempted to build a strip, but it would not fit in the current track location. I'm thinking I could build an outdoor track along my fenceline, so we can have the full 55' of run (scale 1/4 mile for 1/24), plus plenty of dead track to stop. We could put lights at 41.25' (1/32 1/4 mile), as well, to run both scales. Thoughts? Alternatively, does anybody have a 60-plus foot wall that can be occupied? :D

Howdy all! We're considering shifting our regular hours to Friday evenings, instead of Wednesdays. Does anybody have any concerns or preferences? Fridays will allow more family involvement, I think, since the track evenings end up too late for the kiddos. Thoughts? Pros/cons? I'm open to suggestions; the track is open for all of you, so if there's a better time for everybody, let's shoot for it!

Another evening at the track, and another quite enjoyable time! It was great to see everybody there, and to meet Hobo and Kent. The new track seems to be getting broken in nicely. :) The Bus and RAID H3 were definitely different to see running around the track, and a lot of fun!
If anybody wants to help set up a RAID track, I'm game. For that, we'll have to build the structure from the ground up, and make sure we can hoist it out of the way (or run it around the walls) easily.
