Absolutely love this little TR6. Way overdue for lines (blown out and seeping everywhere). Will need some fine tuning with some brake adjustment based on owner’s preferences down the road I’m sure, but finally got to do an axle swap from the original telescoping multi-bearing and problematic setup to a more modern cv and hub assembly. Night and day difference in what is already a super fun little 4 speed car.

Just getting this running felt like an achievement. Harness turned out fantastic, tore into a TD rear diff for the first time, learned some cool s*t along the way. Really enjoyed this one.

Unless you know how and have done the math. Never, ever, replace a fuse with one of higher amperage. It will cost you $$...

If the fuse pops when you plug in your phone charger. Throw out the charger and get the circuit load tested by somebody with the know how.

This customer was told over $300.00 for an AC Evaluation just up towards the interstate in our very own town. Found the system overcharged (which they admitted to having had a family member make an attempt). After recovery it held vacuum for nearly an hour. We located and replaced the seeping hi-side service port, charged the system to spec. 35/150, and cold AC.

Support small businesses.

73-79 (early emissions intro), all of the 80’s, 90-95 all makes and models, import and domestic, just never been a fan. Technologies were all over the place, no global platforms, scattered vacuum routings, extremely low power, and interior that absolutely crumbled. That list could go on for days.

I love old cars. Real cars, mechanical gizmos and all. Never been a Euro fan, but I have definitely developed a soft spot for these little Brits. They seem so basic, but even the smallest things wind up utilizing slight complexities for the sake of…nobody really knows why.

DRL Nightmare. Legitimately spent an entire day trying to sort this…. Shorted illumination circuit wound up heating and melting solder inside the BCM. Solder pooled over onto the Ambient Lighting low reference circuit…. Result was no daytime running lights. Single repaired wire, a couple relays, and some circuit board cleanup… finally DRL’s!

This one got entirely too intrusive for my likings.

Let’s sort out that skip before it’s too late! Whether a rich or lean misfire.. pistons, rings, valves are seeing the excess wear as a result. Catalytic converter damages in these scenarios can wind up the mild hit on your pocket book in comparison the engine damage you’re risking. Get it fixed!
