Last weekend was as successful as they come for our Standing 1/2 mile program with Shift-S3ctor. Both our personal car and one of our customer’s cars won all 3 days bringing home a total of 6 trophies. This success also puts both cars into the points lead.

These 2 cars couldn't be more different. One is a top sportsman style tube chassis car with a naturally aspirated 706cu/in BBC uses Fuel Factory F16o for fuel and FuelTech USA for efi.

The other (our shop car) is a Garrett - Advancing Motion turbocharged Coyote using Fuel Factory FX7 fuel and Haltech for managing all the systems on board.

As different as could be, yet both winning cars out of the same camp. Definitely a proud moment for us.

I'm often asked if we will run our blue car in 1/4 again at some point. Honestly, probably. Until then the challenges of the 1/2 mile are keeping me motivated.

Left is our 230 mph 1/2 mile pass. This is ran on a grooved concrete surface. Not prepared at all. A dusty, painted in places, surface that requires lots of power management.

Right is a 7 second pass with the same car. This was on one of the best prepared radial tire surfaces in the country with roughly 1000hp less.

Check these out and consider the power required to do the 1/2 mile. Its a seriously different challenge, and we're enjoying it!
