One of the best things abut the SX455 registry is having a chain of ownership on a lot of these cars over a 25+ year time span. Today was a perfect example. We had an owner registration for a 1971 convertible in 2009 with a name and city/state but no VIN or photos. I have a a Facebook friend an hour or so from me in Western PA - we met over some Yenko cars he owns since I am in the Yenko Chevrolet zip code). Yesterday he sends me a PM - he just bought a scruffy '71 SX convertible - I opened the registry and looked up the town where he bought it, and there's the car with the prior owner's name and address. Now we have the VIN, cowl tag, and photos for it. That's why Alan Reedy and I do this - to keep records and search and share the info for buyers and sellers. Dealers and auctions are where some history tends to go MIA, and we hopefully have it. Enjoy playing with your new SX, Ron!
