Two PPF quotes can look like they’re for the same thing and still be completely different jobs. 💸🚘

The price can change based on:

🛡️ How much of the vehicle is actually covered
✂️ Whether edges are wrapped or left exposed
✨ The amount of prep before installation
🔧 Vehicle complexity and disassembly
📋 Warranty and installer experience

That’s why comparing PPF only by price can get misleading fast.

A “full front” at one shop may not be finished the same way as a “full front” somewhere else.

The better question is:

What exactly am I getting for the price?

Coverage, finish quality, and installation details matter just as much as the film itself.

Would you choose full front or full body PPF?

Ceramic coating is incredible protection.

But it does not do the same job as paint protection film. 🚘🛡️

That distinction matters.

If your main concern is:

🪨 Rock chips and road impact → PPF

✨ Easier washing, gloss, and environmental protection → Ceramic coating

A coating can help protect the finish from things like contamination, chemicals, UV exposure, and make regular maintenance much easier.

But it is not a thick physical barrier designed to absorb rock impacts.

Start with the problem you’re trying to solve.

Then choose the protection around it.

Window tint is one of those things you notice every single day.

If the install is bad, you see it.

If the film is hazy, you see it.

If the edges are sloppy, you see it.

That’s why the install matters just as much as the film itself.

Clean prep.

Clean edges.

Proper shrinking.
