This picture right here of a man with a badly damaged race car but smiling happy to be standing in victory lane. His father by his side on the 4 wheeler watched his son win that race. And we must say he won that race with clean driving his father should be proud of him and I'm sure he was. We wanted him to pull some parts off for tech that would of took awhile he said just dq me I'm fine with it. We said ok. Then we found out Sunday the reason was his Dad was very sick and they needed to leave quick. By the following afternoon Dad was in the hospital not doing well and he passed away this afternoon. This picture took by Nikki Wooten means the world to Jimmy DeVuono driver of the 910 car. This picture has me so upset with anger and sorrow about what happened at our race track just before this picture was taken it was so unnecessary and had no reason to happen. I love racing but I hate some of the racin makes me just not want to be involved in it anymore.
Our deepest condolences and prayers to the DeVuono family R.i.P

On Saturday, August 29, 2026, after multiple rain delays, we were able to finally Induct our 2026 Hall of Fame. Congratulations to the dedicated drivers, family members, employees, and car owners that were inducted into this year's Hall of Fame.

Well today is race day. Today we get to watch our Shady Bowl kids have fun doing the big wheel race and win bikes. Someone tried ruining this day for the kids by STEALING 7 bikes. I hope this person is proud of themselves for stealing from these kids. But don’t worry kids we got you! So let’s go out there today and have a super fun day!! Also if you didn’t get a book bag make sure to stop at the grandstand gate and get one.

Cheri says we got lots of book bags with supplies and supplies left. One last time they will be offered at the grandstand gate Saturday starting at 2:30 when gate opens. Anything left will be donated to a church. Get them while you can.
