General Rules:
NO Fighting. Family friendly - watch your language. Dirty racing will not be tolerated. Drive dirty you will get DQ for that heat. If you do get into someone and spin them out, do the right thing and wait for them to get going again or for them to be marshalled. All Classes:
Tire Prep is allowed. Battery: (Unless otherwise stated) 2 cell hard case LiPo - 7.4 volts or 7.6 volts - Charged to max 8.44v batteries not to be heated or hot. (applies to all classes)
Transponder: ILaps transponder. Must be visible from above to ensure proper lap tracking
Turn Marshalling:
Turn marshall after your class unless you have back to back heats. Lack of marshalling will result in a DQ for your previous heat. Track Rules:
RUBBER TIRES ONLY
15 to 20 minutes will be given between each heat for track maintenance if needed. Steering assisted Traction Control is prohibited
No gyros or driving assists allowed. Class Rules:
Mudboss 13.5
Salvas MudBoss bodies only
Any minor modification to the body must be approved before being allowed
CHASSIS
TRAXXAS 2wd (SLASH or RAPTOR) chassis only
Original MFG suspension parts only, no other parts allowed (such as from RPM)
Original MFG chassis parts only, no aftermarket hop-ups, no optional aluminium parts
Front bumper, right side bumper and front body post brace must be removed
Left side and rear bumpers can also be removed (if desired) **rear RPM bumper is allowed**
TRAXXAS front optional bumper (TRA2735) can be used (angled down)
Major alterations to the chassis or modification to drivetrain/suspension components is not allowed
Electronics (rx/esc/amb) must be installed within chassis surface (no outside installation)
Battery brace can be trimmed to allow different LiPo battery wire configuration
ELECTRONICS
Original TRAXXAS 2075 servo
TRAXXAS 2075x (servo) AND TRAXXAS 2072x (gears) are allowed as ‘alternative’ parts/servo
The “SAVOX SC-0252MG Digital Servo” is allowed, this is an ‘alternative’ servo
SAVOX gear set (SAVSGSC0251MG) can be used to ‘upgrade’ the TRAXXAS 2075 to metal gears
It is allowed to 'pin' the servo saver(white) or bell crank(black)...be advised the servo gears might get broken under a
heavy crash!!! original TRAXXAS plastic servo saver/bell crank only (white or black system) it is allowed to mix the components
(ie.. black servo horn with white bell crank)
It is allowed to use a solid (one piece) servo horn (any brand)
Battery: 2 cell hard case LiPo - 7.4 volts or 7.6 volts - Charged to max 8.44v batteries not to be heated or hot
ADJUSTMENTS
TRAXXAS 76/83/86/90 spur with all transmission parts in place (slipper)
Any pinion size
No modifications can be made to the transmission’s case (ie.. to allow a bigger gear ratio)
The gear cover must be off at all times to allow for visual inspection (CARPET)...and removed if asked (DIRT)
The only adjustments allowed to the car are those allowed by the original MFG components of the car
You are allowed to use any original wheel spacer combination (Black, Grey or any combination of both types)
Transmission functionality rule (motor can not spin while turning slowly one rear wheel a full turn)
Traxxas SLASH *STEEL* transmission gears only (internal plastic transmission gears not allowed)
Adding weight (in any way) is not allowed, wheel balancing is allowed (sole purpose of balancing, not to add weight)
SUSPENSION
TRAXXAS 2WD plastic shocks only (grey or black version) (fronts in front, rears in rear)
Original Rear(TRAXXAS 5858) and Front springs (TRAXXAS 5857) (no LCG kit springs or aftermarket springs)
Front springs may be cut in order to shorten them (no more than 5 round removed on ONE end)
The shock’s travel may be shortened with internal shims (ie..fuel tube or solid shims...) Original shafts in original cylinder (length and type in proper cylinder)
Original pistons from kit only (original 1,2 or 3 hole), no modifications can be made to them
No front bump stop suspension, a single original blue bump stop can be used per rear shock (not mandatory)
No shimming allowed (to reduce slop in suspension parts)
All suspension parts (such as A-Arms) must remain in original positions it was designed for (no swapping left to right)
Rear camber links must remain in original height position (upper hole on shock tower not allowed)
SPECIFIC RULES TO VANZANT RC SPEEDWAY
TRAXXAS LCG chassis is allowed
Duratrax Bandito or (due to supply chain issues) PROLINE #10153 HOOSIER M3 or M4 with oem blue inserts (any SC wheel)
Tire surface must show “thread Pattern” (no slick tires)
Justock 13.5 motor (as is from factory- unaltered) & ESC combo
A single 30mm motor fan can be used
Traxxas magnum 272R transmission & it’s components are NOT allowed
All other rules specified earlier in sections 1-2-3-4-5 stays the same
Short Course Open/Outlaw:
Chassis: Must be 2wd SC truck based or SC truck based conversion. Batteries must be located in the center of the driveline. Purpose built/manufactured cars for the class will be legal. Motor/ESC: Open motor/ESC
Battery: 2 cell hard case LiPo - 7.4 volts or 7.6 volts - Charged to max 8.44v batteries not to be heated or hot
Open gear rule
Wheels and Tires: Any 2.2/3.0 Short Course wheel, but must run rubber street tread SCT-based tires only. (Ie: Hoosier, Bandito, DE, or Slicks)
Body: Dirt Modified Bodies required. Must be open wheel style body, rendered similarly to 1:1 scale dirt modified bodies using commercially available bodies. Final decision of body tech is at the discretion of the race directors. All cars must be clearly marked with a car number. Sportsman SC
Chassis : Chassis must be a stock mass-produced 2wd short course chassis (Associated, Traxxas, Losi, etc). Rear or mid-motor. No lefty or purpose built chassis. Only options allowed are option parts produced by the original manufacturer (IE Associated, Traxxas, Losi, ect. part number) and RPM plastic parts used for durability and for its intended purpose. No adjustable rear arms, or lowered shock towers. The Traxxas slash blue LCG chassis is legal. Original or Brand manufactured Option shocks allowed but must be used in its originally intended configuration. (ie: No front shocks on the rear etc.) Limiting of the shocks with internal limiters is OK. Proline racing shocks are legal. Motor: Any 13.5 turn brushless motor
If mid-motor: Must be any 17.5 brushless motor
ESC: Any ROAR approved ESC In Blinky mode
Battery Location: Must be run in the original designed configuration. Battery: 2 cell hard case LiPo - 7.4 volts or 7.6 volts - Charged to max 8.44v batteries not to be heated or hot
Open gear rule

Bodies: We will allow stock truck, late model, and SC Mod Bodies to compete in this class. The idea of being inclusive rather than exclusive matters to us - we want to be sure that anyone with an SC based race car has an opportunity to race. Novice Class
Class can be ran with any 1/10 scale car or truck. A driver cannot enter into any other class if they are entered into the novice class. Once a driver chooses to compete in another class, they are no longer eligible for the novice class. Novice competitors may be asked to move up from the novice class at the track director’s discretion. The Novice class may use reverse
Winged Sprints
Chassis: Any 1:10 scale 2wd buggy-based electric sprint car. Cars can be purpose built kits or conversion kits. Motor/ESC: Justock 13.5 motor & ESC combo
Battery: 2 cell hard case LiPo - 7.4 volts or 7.6 volts - Charged to max 8.44v batteries not to be heated or hot. Open gear rule
Tires: Rubber street tread buggy-based tires only. (Ie: Hoosier, Bandito, DE, or Slicks)
Cage/Body: Body must resemble cage and panels/tail tank from full size sprint car. (Ie: Custom Works cage and McAllister body)
Street Stock
Chassis: All cars must use a 2wd 1/10 scale stock buggy chassis. Mid Engine chassis are permissible. Open shock/shock tower rule. Adjustable rear arms are allowed. Minimum weight ready to run must be 54oz. (3lb. 6oz.) Motors & ESC : Open
Battery Location: Must be run in the original designed configuration. Battery: 2 cell hard case LiPo - 7.4 volts or 7.6 volts - Charged to max 8.44v batteries not to be heated or hot. (Ie: Hoosier, Bandito, DE, or Slicks)
Bodies: must cover all 4 tires and be based on commercially available buggy-based street stock bodies. (McAllister, Shark, etc. No wedge, late model, or aero bodies)
All cars must be clearly marked with a car number. Rear Spoiler allowed
