🔧 FROM NO STEP TO NEXT STEP! 🛻💪

This 2016 Ram 1500 rolled into C/K Automotive LLC with a little problem… the driver's side AMP Research power running board decided it was officially retired. 😂

After some diagnosing, we found TWO problems:
🔧 Faulty power control module
⚙️ Seized-up running board motor

We replaced both components, and just like that… BACK FROM THE DEAD! ⚡💪

Now that running board is dropping down and folding up like it's supposed to, instead of making the driver climb in like he's mounting a horse. 🐎🤣

🔩 TWO NAILS. TWO TIRES. THAT’S SOME BAD LUCK. 😂🛞

Had a customer come in after picking up two nails in two different tires.

One got a quick plug, while the other came off the wheel and got patched from the inside. A little extra work, but a whole lot cheaper than replacing two perfectly good tires! 🔧💪

🔥 Well… we found where the lights went. 😂⚡️

This 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 came into the shop with no lights working on the passenger side.

After chasing the electrical issue down, we found the culprit pictured below — a shorted/burnt electrical connector with a terminal that got hot enough to melt the surrounding plastic. 😬🔥

This is a perfect example of why electrical problems need to be properly diagnosed instead of just throwing fuses, bulbs, and parts at them.

We know the page has been a little quiet lately, but that definitely doesn’t mean the shop has been. Between keeping up with repairs and everything else going on around here, posting has taken a back seat. We’ll try to do better about showing you guys what’s been coming through the doors!

Speaking of things that probably should’ve been addressed a little sooner… 😅

These brake pads came off a 2015 Chevy Equinox, and I think it’s safe to say they got every penny’s worth out of them. 😂

There’s worn-out… and then there’s “we’re using the entire brake pad, including the parts that weren’t supposed to be brake pad.” 😬

Some classics never go out of style 😎

This beautiful 1963 Chevy Biscayne wagon rolled into C/K Automotive as a non runner and in need of some serious attention.

🔧 We found that the Ignition timing was way off, fouled spark plugs, and multiple broken spark plug wires

After getting the timing set correctly and replacing the worn ignition components, this old wagon is back to running the way Chevrolet intended over 60 years ago.

Whether it's your daily driver or a 60-year-old cruiser, every vehicle deserves quality care. We're proud to keep classics like this on the road where they belong.
