Upstate New York’s Unadilla MX is one of America’s original motocross tracks, hosting some of the biggest events in the sport’s history, including USGPs, the Motocross of Nations, Pro Motocross, Trans-AMAs, and more.

With a truly European-style layout and Woodstock vibes, the former dairy farm sits in the Unadilla River Valley, six miles north of the town of New Berlin, between Syracuse and Albany. Unadilla is an Iroquois word meaning “place of meeting.”

Unadilla MX has hosted it all: Pro Motocross, the Motocross of Nations, World Motocross Grand Prix events, Trans-AMAs, Bob Hannah vs. Roger De Coster, Hannah vs. the World, Hannah’s final race, and the crowning of countless champions.

Spread across 55 green acres of upstate New York farmland, Unadilla MX was once famous for kicking off race weekends on a completely grass-covered course. Originally known as the Unadilla Valley Sports Center, the facility hosted Trans-AMA races before the AMA Pro Motocross Championship even existed.

The 1987 Motocross of Nations took place at “Dilla,” marking the first time the event was held in the United States.

Ward Robinson purchased the land in 1968 after attending an Inter-AM motocross race in Pepperell, Massachusetts. He held his first race at the following year.

The current layout remains close to Robinson’s original vision of a natural, European-style course and retains several original track features, including Gravity Cavity and The Wall, which was originally called “Screw U.”

Today, a second generation of Robinsons—siblings Jill and Greg—runs the venue, which now features the Skyshot, a 150-foot tabletop jump.

The AMA just needs to add another class: a 2-stroke class. Let the premier pros choose which bike and class they want to race in. Do the same for electric bikes and give them their own class, too. Let riders choose to race one class or all of them.

Maybe 450s on Saturday night, 250s and 2-strokes on Sunday, and electric bikes on Friday night. Give it a shot and see how it goes! 🏁

82 days until A1, and Justin Barcia is bringing the aggression back to Suzuki! 💥 His first AMA Supercross race with Pipes Motorsports Group is set for January 9 at Angel Stadium aboard the Twisted Tea Suzuki RM-Z450.

But before Anaheim, Barcia gets his first taste of race action on the new bike at the AUSX Open in Geelong, Australia, on November 7. 🇦🇺

People love to hate on Haiden Deegan, but let’s be real…

🟠 DID THE INJURY FORCE ELI TOMAC INTO RETIREMENT? 👀💔

Roger De Coster believes Tomac might have raced another Supercross season if it weren't for the injury. Speaking on Swapmoto Live with Donn Maeda, De Coster said he thinks Eli would have continued racing.

He revealed that Tomac only made his final decision recently, and his message to the legend was simple: It had to be Eli's decision. Whatever he chose, the team would stand behind him 100%.

But De Coster also explained why walking away from racing is so difficult. When you've spent your entire life chasing wins, battling rivals, and living for that adrenaline, it's not easy to just walk away.

"You become addicted." 🎯
