I guess it is time for an update on the lift. The owner of the property called me today only after some new person that is now living on the property told him I was there. No progress was made, in fact there has been a regression in progress. They still will not let me into the building to get the lift. I understand that he is hurt in the deal they made with the guy that rented the shop from him. I probably shouldnt have let that same guy borrow my equipment. I was just trying to get my equipment to some place that was dry and out of the elements. I don't know what I can do anymore. He is so adamant that the court system will solve his problems. It is so hard to even get in touch with the guy, I am fairly certain that he has blocked any form of communication from me. If I do get the lift back, and I'm not sure I have the patience to wait that long, I will never do business with this owner EVER again. Maybe it's time to find a lawyer... but who has the funds for that....

Just got off the phone with the owner of the property that the lift is at. A little progress has been made.

The case got continued to February... really getting tired of the waste of time.

We were told that nobody was supposed to be in the shop while Court proceedings were going on..... clearly someone misse...

Well... the update is that the case was continued so the lift will still be inaccessible until the next court date in December....

Here is another update. Talked to the owner of the property that Milage Pro's was located at. They will not let me retrieve our lift until things between him and the guy that was operating Milage Pro's have progressed through the court system. How long that is going to take is anyone's guess. It wasn't the best phone call....

Just as a transparency thing, we are no longer collaborating with Milage Pro's. We were told that they had to move out of state to help with a family matter. We were able to get most of our equipment that was loaned to them back except for our lift. We have been trying to deal with the owner of the building to get it back but they seem to not be interested/willing to allow us to get it. We will try to give more updates when we can.

On another note, we would like to know if anyone would be interested in starting a community DIY shop. Someplace for people to be able to do work on their own vehicles and have access to equipment that they normally would have.

We have most of our equipment back at the home base, just have to get the lift moved. Hope to be able to do that soon.

It's probably to late for this, especially since I dont know a date and there is a bunch of stuff going on, but, whoever took my Snap-on ball joint/universal joint kit that was on Loan to Mileage Pros , please contact me
