There’s something humbling about standing before God’s creation and realizing that the same hands that formed the mountains and stretched out the heavens are the hands guiding our lives.

We may not always understand His timing or see what He’s doing behind the scenes, but we can rest in knowing His character never changes.

His love is greater than we can comprehend, His faithfulness is unwavering, and His goodness is woven into every season of our lives. 🕊️

May we never become so busy with life that we forget to recognize the goodness of the King who gave it to us. 👑

We spend so much of our lives trying to be strong. Strong enough to handle the pressure. Strong enough to fix the problem. Strong enough to keep going when life gets heavy.

But God never asked us to carry everything in our own strength.

Sometimes the places where we feel weakest are exactly where we learn to depend on Him the most. His grace is enough for the day in front of us, and His strength reaches places ours never could.

Whatever you’re carrying today, you don’t have to have it all figured out. Stay humble. Give God the parts that feel too heavy and trust Him to meet you there. Take courage, for even in weakness, His glory will ultimately shine. ✨

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 🤲

Some seasons of life are calm waters. Others test everything in us.

James reminds us that the hard seasons aren’t wasted. Every trial we walk through with God has the ability to strengthen our faith, build perseverance, and prepare us for what’s ahead.

We may not understand why the waters have gotten rough, but we can trust the One guiding us through them. Keep going. Keep praying. Keep trusting. God is still working, even here.

I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. 🙏💛🗣️
Psalm 9:1 📖

Some days gratitude comes easy. Other days, you have to look for it. That’s what makes this verse so powerful. David chose to give thanks with his whole heart, not because life was always easy, but because God was still good. Maybe today the reminder is simply to notice what you usually rush past. The quiet. The people you love. The fact that God has carried you farther than you realize. There is something grounding about remembering His faithfulness before asking what comes next.

‭‭Colossians‬ ‭1‬:‭16 📖 ‬

My Pastor, Mike, shared a reminder today that really stuck with me: when we understand who created us, it changes the way we understand our worth.

So much of life tries to tell us who we are. Success, failure, other people’s opinions, our circumstances, even our own expectations can all start to shape the way we see ourselves.

Paul in Colossians brings us back to something deeper.

We were created by God.
We were created through Him.
And we were created for Him.

That means our purpose does not begin with what we accomplish, what we have or how others see us. It begins with the One who made us.

Our circumstances can change. People can change. Seasons can change.

God does not.

There is real freedom in remembering that our identity is safest in the hands of our Creator.

When life makes you question your value or your purpose, go back to the One who knew you first.

He created you intentionally.
He has not lost sight of you.
And your life still has purpose.

So today, remember who you belong to. You do not have to chase your worth, prove your value, or let the world define what God has already spoken over your life.

Today, we remember September 11, 2001.

We honor the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the first responders who ran toward danger when others were running away. We remember the courage, sacrifice, and unity our country showed in the days that followed.

May we never forget. 🇺🇸

As another summer begins winding down, we’re feeling especially grateful for everyone who spent their lake days with us this year. The boat rides, fishing trips, dock days, pizza stops, ice cream runs, and all the memories made right here on Table Rock Lake are what make this place so special.

Today we celebrate hard work, good people, great dogs, and a summer well spent. 🇺🇸⚓️
