Just a heads up and FYI, there is no early registration for our car show. I've seen a couple posts about registering online and we DO NOT do that, it is the day of the car show at the car show only!!!! Please be weary of scams!!!!

We are one week away, we have some amazing sponsors again this year, and so many people have stepped up to help spread the word. This is a wonderful event started by my dad 5 years ago because he wanted to make sure no one forgot Max or the sacrifice those 13 soldiers made that day, and every soldier every day. I think he succeeded, I personally will never forget Max, not only because of his sacrifice, but also for the purpose he gave my dad after loosing mom 6 years ago. This car show was something we planned starting January 1st every year and worked all summer to pull it together, it was something dad enjoyed and believed in with all of his heart, and even with him being ill at the start of May, he insisted that we carry on with it this year, and that is what we will do!!! We look forward to seeing you all Saturday, and hopefully we will get to 100 registered cars. ❤🤍💙

There are 9 awards to be given enough this year, all voting is done by the registered vehicle owners and the categories are: Best of show
Classics cars
25 yrs and newer
Motorcycles
Trucks/jeeps
Rat rods

Good evening, for those of you who don't know, my dad, Wayne Watson, started this car show 5 years ago. He wanted to make sure that no one forgot Max. Max is a local hero who lost his life serving his country and protecting the innocent. Dad loved classic cars and so did my mom, in 2009, dad completed a more than 20 year project restoring a 1963 Chevy impala for my mom. Mom passed away in 2020 and dad wanted to keep her spirit alive and honor Max at the same time. So he created this car show to do just that. Every car show dad ever went to, he would register the car in moms name. In the 4 years of hosting this car show for Max we have raised over $17,000 for the Corpsman Maxton W. Soviak Memorial foundation. Not an incredibly large amount of money, but never the less, a cause he believed in and supported whole heartedly. Last week Dad passed away after a short illness. Dad would want us to keep going, so keep going we will. This is gonna be a tough one but I'm gonna do it for dad!
So please come check it out on August 29th at the norwalk VFW. if you or some one you know has a classic or any car, truck, jeep, or motorcycle they want to show off, come support an amazing cause and the most wonderful dad in the world. Dads goal was always to have at least 100 registered cars and the closest we ever came was 85, so let's make this happen for dad this year.
