How’s your car feeling?

Here’s a quick check list that can keep you away from the shop for unnecessary repairs and a few common sense maintenance items for the new normal, your car just sits doing nothing........

Drive your car at least a couple of times a week. Make one of those include the highway if only briefly. This will help keep the battery, brakes and catalytic converter working right.

Change your oil at least a few times a year ( I like once for every season ) even if you aren’t due by mileage.

Have the battery tested, it’s free at most shops and part stores.

Consider paying a small fee to have the mechanical parts that need to move freely on your brake system serviced. The combination of New England weather, salt makes this necessary even without a pandemic!

While the world is on fire don’t forget about your car! Look at your oil change sticker. Maintenance makes cars last longer and it sure looks like we need them too! Let’s hope for better times. We are here and trying our best!
