NEVER FORGET: On this day in 1989, Deputy Frank Seton responded to help a fellow deputy with five shooting suspects. When the suspects fled from their vehicle and ran into a heavily wooded, swampy area, Deputy Seton gave chase and became stuck. As he was being lifted by our OCSO helicopter, he tragically fell, sustaining fatal injuries.

We will never forget Deputy Seton's commitment to the citizens of Orange County and his fellow deputies. May he forever .

Hi, I’m the guy with the Stinger who you helped last night. I hope this is okay, but I wanted to wish you a very Merry Christmas. I was having a horrible day and was dreading what I knew would be a rough day today. But then you, aptly named Angel, came to my rescue and did so with such a kind spirit. So now I am not being a grinch today and despite a rough day I am spreading as much joy as possible. Because of you. So thank you kind sir. I’ll put you on the prayer list and pray for a full recovery for you. The world is a better place with you in it. I hope the new year brings peace, prosperity, and joy to you. You made an impact on me, as I’m sure you do for many. Merry Christmas and God bless.
