The FCA Annual Meet in Monticello. I had the honor of co-chairing this event. We have been working on it for about a year and a half. It was a tremendous undertaking with over 600 people in attendance. We had an amazing time holding a Concours d'Elegance with world class judging, visiting places like West Point, Bear Mountain, red carpet entry at Woodbury Common, a rally through the Catskills with a stop at the site of the 1969 music festival at Woodstock and a quick jump over the Delaware water gap to Pennsylvania. Also two major parties including the Spirit of '76 reception where we encouraged members to dress in their best 1776, 1876 and 1976 attire celebrating the 250th anniversary of our country. The meet ended with a giant awards gala with over 600 people in attendance honoring the legendary Mechanic François Sicard. I'm happy to say that I won the Platino award plus the next highest award, the Coppa Bella Macchina for my 488GTB. Overall, it was amazing time and I would like to thank all of the FCA members who volunteered their time to make the event a memorable one. A big thank you to our local partners such as Ferrari of Long Island for their generous support of the FCA as well as all of our national partners and vendors who filled up our Mercato area and at the concours at Monticello Motor Club
