Buddy has been driving on this for weeks and thinks its fine
Zoomed in on his sidewall and theres a crack running along it with what looks like cord showing through. He says it drives fine and hasnt lost air so hes not worried. I told him thats exactly how a blowout starts on the highway but he thinks im overreacting. Not a mechanic myself, just dont like the look of it.

Third set of CV axles in five years and i barely drive it hard
Pulled these off a 2008 Sierra thats been mine over five years, third set of CV axles replaced and the boots keep splitting in different spots every time. Truck barely gets driven hard, mostly just errands. Always figured these were supposed to last the life of the vehicle. Starting to wonder if somethings else going on with the alignment or if i just got a bad batch twice in a row.

Truck costs more than my house but the tires still look wrong.
This is a High Country Duramax in for service, top trim, loaded with everything. Then you look down and the sidewall on this tire is basically nonexistent, wheel gap barely there, looks like it belongs on something half the size. Rides like that too from what the owner told me. Dont know why people do this to a truck this nice.

How do you properly remove rear wheels or brake drums on Ford trucks with inboard-mounted lug nuts or axle fl**ges?
A head-scratching situation for an auto shop—the rear wheels on a Ford truck won't budge because the lug nuts are actually located behind the wheel assembly! On certain heavy-duty dual-rear-wheel (dually) models or specific axle setups with inboard-mounted brake drums, the lug studs protrude outward while the securing nuts or axle fl**ge bolts are accessed from the inner side of the hub, leaving inexperienced mechanics utterly confused.
