I thought I would share my final message to my Cantor Fitzgerald colleagues:

After nearly three decades, it is certainly surreal saying goodbye.

It jas been a few days since Thursday when I was let go and I find myself reflecting on what an incredible journey it has been. Over the past 29 years, I have had the privilege of working alongside some of the most talented, dedicated, and hardworking people in our industry. The relationships I have built here—both professional and personal—are what I will cherish most.

I joined the firm in 1997, and it has been far more than just a workplace. It has been a place where I learned, grew, celebrated successes, overcame challenges, and formed friendships that I hope will last a lifetime. I am grateful for the opportunities I was given, the trust that wasplaced in me, and the many colleagues, mentors, and clients who helped shape my career.

Together, we navigated bull markets and bear markets, industry changes, historic events, and countless memorable moments. Through it all, I was fortunate to be part of a culture that valued hard work, resilience, teamwork, and excellence.

While leaving is bittersweet, I am excited for the next chapter and the opportunities ahead. At the same time, I will always look back on my years here with immense gratitude and pride. The experiences, lessons, and friendships I gained will stay with me forever.

To everyone who has been part of my journey, thank you. Thank you for your support, partnership, friendship, and trust. It has truly been an honor to work with all of you.

I wish the firm and all of my colleagues continued success in the years ahead.

Well, friends, I need your help.

I almost made it to 29 years (this coming August) as an Institutional Equity Sales Trader with Cantor Fitzgerald (through 9/11) and today, they let me go "because the firm is moving in a different direction." They say it is not personal.

Guess no more waking up at 3 or 4am to head into the office.
