1961 Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder Recreation by Classic Cars by Renucci, finished in Rosso Red over Saddle Tan leather.

Inspired by one of the most iconic Ferraris ever built — and a car forever associated with *Ferris Bueller’s Day Off* — this Renucci is a substantially higher-quality build than the movie car and features a purpose-built chassis powered by a Jaguar 5.3-liter V12 with six Weber carburetors, paired with a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission.

Few cars are as instantly recognizable as the Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder, especially after Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. The famous “NRVOUS” plate from the movie even inspired the owner of this car — his original Wisconsin plate was “NRRVOUS” because someone already had “NRVOUS.”
This example was built by Classic Cars by Renucci, founded by Mike Renucci, whose background included engineering work with Jaguar and Ford. These were high-quality, limited-production builds designed to capture the look and proportions of the original California Spyder while using a purpose-built chassis and more serviceable mechanical components.

Now live on PCARMARKET — 1988 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa.
I have a bit of a personal connection to this one. My father owned a 1988 911 Commemorative Edition from 1988 through 1994, but I was too young to ever get the chance to drive it. This Targa was actually my first time behind the wheel of a G50 Carrera, and it was an absolute blast to drive. It definitely brought back some great memories of my dad’s car.
This example shows just over 53,000 miles and has had a significant amount of work performed recently. The underside was professionally dry-ice cleaned, the exterior received a full paint correction and ceramic coating, the A/C system was repaired and serviced, and additional mechanical work has been completed to get the car into the condition you see today.
Finished in Black over a black interior, it’s a great-looking example of the final years of the classic 3.2-liter Carrera, with the desirable G50 5-speed manual transmission.
