One holiday weekend, three friends and a bumper. Sounds like the synopsis of a bad sitcom, but the bumper really looks great!

The original bumper was built by and they did a great job. Its is crazy strong and i myself have witnessed it punish many a rock on the trail. Memorial weekend was upon us and with all the work we've done though we thought a little change up was needed. We're going to retain much of the original so we don't change the "feel" of the Beast, but needed to tighten it up a little. Look close, we made lots of subtle cuts here and there. Takes a while to move 3/16s steel.

Its been a crazy few months, Annette and I finally got a chance to go wheeling with our friends of . My friends at GroundPounder road shotgun and grabbed a few awesome pics of the Honcho cutting through the trails of Jerome, Arizona. Took Smiley rock, Broken Arrow, and Chicken Corner. Other than fending off more pink tour jeeps than a person should ever have to, it was a great time!

or i'm helping the wife clean out the shed this weekend....yup you guessed it. No shop time this weekend.

So a long day of going through the suspension, nut and bolting everything. Plus we finally hooked up all 4 O2 sensors. Then for a final step, we butchered some exhaust together. The Beast now sports a jeep diesel gladiator muffler. Gotta say though...it sounds great! Big thanks to our friend who stopped by and filmed our first start.
