π¨ A SIMPLE WALK-AROUND COULD SAVE YOU THOUSANDS!...
Before you put your RV away for the season, DONβT JUST PARK IT & FORGET IT!
A thorough end-of-season inspection will catch small problems before winter turns them into BIG, EXPENSIVE repairs.
π TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT:
π§ ROOF & WATER LEAKS
Check the roof, vents, skylights, A/C units, windows and seams. A tiny opening can allow water inβand water damage can become VERY expensive.
π οΈ CAULKING & SEALS
Caulking dries, cracks and separates over time. Inspect around windows, doors, roof penetrations and exterior seams.
βοΈ SLIDE-OUTS
Inspect seals, toppers, tracks and mechanisms. Make sure everything is clean, properly sealed and operating correctly before storage.
π PEST ENTRY POINTS
Look for openings where mice and other unwanted winter guests can get inside.
β οΈ REMEMBER:
Small leak today = BIG repair tomorrow.
Your RV is a major investment. Spending a little time inspecting and properly preparing it at the end of the season can mean less money spent on repairs and MORE TIME CAMPING next year! ποΈ
