Folks, I get tons of you all asking me, “where are all the $3,000–$4,000 cars at?” Well, in today’s economy, that’s getting harder and harder to come by. Surprisingly, I ran across this little Hyundai, and at first glance, I didn’t think much of it. But then I thought, “You know, that little car don’t look too bad!”
After doing a little research, I found out this car has only had 1 original owner and was sold new in Winter Park, FL. Surprisingly the original window sticker, owners manuals, and all 3 sets of keys/remotes were left with this one. While this isn’t a new car, I could tell someone loved it enough to keep up with all of that for the past 24 years.
With that being said, this is a 2002 Hyundai Sonata in the “GLS” trim line.
It comes equipped with power windows, door locks and mirrors (which all work properly.) AM/FM radio with single disc CD, other options include fog lights, keyless entry, and cruise control.
The interior has held up very well, the original floor mats and trunk net are still intact. No signs of foul odors etc.
I personally have drove this car on the interstate, and honestly it handled as good as a 10 year old car. With 155,000 miles the front end feels tight, the oil changes have been kept up and are up to date, I haven’t noticed any signs of oil leaks, and I did notice there was a new 2026 battery from Hyundai. There’s also even a good set of matching tires that have great tread. The air blows ice cold, and the heat is warm.
A few things that have came with age, the body shows signs of paint fade, and the headliner does show a few areas that look to have pinned back up by the previous owner, and there is a air bag light on for a faulty sensor. Carfax shows no reported accidents or signs of ever being wrecked.
Folks, this definitely isn’t a new car what so ever but 
If you’re looking for just a clean cheap older car to use for work, a child’s first car, or even a back up. This one is with checking out.
