looking for an inexpensive sportster for my kid to ride for the summer while working on project bike. willing to throw in dyno tuning on top of cash. when i say inexpensive i mean it. i sold a 2002 95" softail with cams and tuned for $4500 last year and not going to pay anywhere near that for a 30 year old sportster. no idea what people are thinking these days.

Hey folks, a small reminder that i run this business as appointment-only. New customers i require a deposit to get you on the calendar. I will 'pencil' people in but if i haven't received a deposit within a few days (via cash or the venmo link i sent you), i will give your appt away to someone behind you or on the cancellation list. If you do show up for your 'scheduled' appt and i already have filled your spot, im sorry to say you will be sent home. Current customers i don't require a deposit because you've shown you will show up, but if you don't you'll end up on the naughty list and will have to reschedule with a deposit. People who have paid or are waiting for a reschedule are going to get called this week and fit into the slots I am no longer saving for people.

PSA: Customers with 2025+ Softail models.. please ensure you have a battery tender (factory or otherwise) because getting to the battery posts on the new bikes is a pain.

Reminder folks, for new customers a nominal deposit is due to get on the calendar and its first come, first served here. I got about 5 calls yesterday from new customers, and texts from 2 prior ones wanting to know what the schedule looks like. It's into June.

Attn customers, I learned something new the other day: I can't take swipe-only cards. I didnt realize when my provider sent me a new POS device that it was chip/air only. (So no Visa gift cards). I don't do direct entry either because without physical presence they tend to keep the money from me for 30-60 days. This is also why i dont take orders over the phone. When i bought a $2000 exhaust for a customer a few years ago the charge i took via phone didn't clear for 60 days. If it's a chip or a tap, it goes into my account right away. If you want to pay by card, it's +3% convenience fee and it needs to be a chip/tap card and be in-person. Sorry about the inconvenience. Cash is always accepted!

Edit: I also take Venmo/Paypal via app and it's the same +3% as card. No CashApp, sorry. Too many apps to keep track of as it is and each one linked to my bank is another way for stuff to be compromised.
