Tip of the week: Oil changes, do them on time every time to avoid internal damage to your engine. While modern synthetic oils last longer than older conventional oils, the computer in your later model Honda (2010+) calculates for the synthetic, don't think,"oh it's synthetic I can go longer." Oil does wear out and no longer lubricates (or potentially leaks out) with engine usage.
This engine has sludge buildup, worn out timing tensioner, and very stretched (2+teeth) timing chain. Changing your oil regularly means when it reaches 20% oil life, 15% at the latest. If you wait until it starts counting mileage past due you are doing irreversible damage.
Help us help you, schedule your oil change the first time the "maintenance due" or wrench light show on your dash.
