Ahead of Round 2 of the Alpine Racing Series presented by Porsche Colorado Springs, our partners at Grand Junction Motor Speedway have stepped up in a big way with an additional bonus purse for both KA100 Senior and LO206 Senior. The purse will be paid through 5th place and is based on total class entries:
20–24 entries: $1,000 purse
25–29 entries: $1,500 purse
30+ entries: $2,000 purse
Drivers must be registered for and participate in Friday practice to be eligible for the bonus purse.
Additionally, GJMS has announced that they will be running scheduled practice all day Friday with no rental kart operations during practice hours. The Friday schedule will closely mirror the official Saturday ARS practice schedule, giving competitors an excellent opportunity to prepare for the weekend. Friday practice is operated by GJMS, is not included in ARS race registration, and will be $100 per driver.
