The Morgan Adams Foundation and Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing put on another amazing weekend at High Plains Raceway, surpassing their fundraising goal of $150,000! Here are some highlights from a rainy Saturday.

We are very excited to announce that The 7th Annual Race Against Kids' Cancer will feature the first ever MAF/RAKC ProAm race, presented by Schomp Automotive!
On Saturday, July 29th, two-person teams made up of a Pro driver and a Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing amateur driver will take the track at High Plains Raceway for a 45-minute race with a mandatory 5-minute driver change.
Thanks to our friends at Schomp MINI and Schomp BMW, the ProAm race will feature two types of cars:
2017 BMW 340i xDrive
2017 MINI Cooper S
Keep an eye out as we will be announcing one of the featured ProAm Pro drivers every day at 10am!

We are thrilled to announce the first Pro driver competing in the Race Against Kids' Cancer ProAm: Alex Figge!
Alex was formerly part of the K-PAX Racing Team and in his first three seasons with the team, he celebrated 5 pole positions, 5 wins, and 12 top-five finishes! Alex currently races with Camburg Racing.
We can't wait to see Alex on the track at High Plains Raceway for the The 7th Annual Race Against Kids' Cancer on July 29th!
Please help us welcome Alex and thank him for supporting our mission to fund life-saving research for kids, teenagers, and young adults battling cancer!

We are incredibly excited to tell you that Robby Unser will be joining us at The 7th Annual Race Against Kids' Cancer on July 29th and 30th at High Plains Raceway and he'll be one of the Pros competing in the first ever !
Robby is a former Indy Racing League driver and nine-time winner of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (Official Site)! Robby and his cousin Al Unser Jr. are drivers for Team Speedway.

Happy Saturday! We're ONE WEEK away from The 7th Annual Race Against Kids' Cancer and the first ever Race Against Kids' Cancer ProAm presented by Schomp BMW and Schomp MINI!
We are so happy to have Nick Ham with us for the ! Hailing from Yorkshire, England, Nick is a very experienced racer who competed in the 1998 24 Heures du Mans (24 Hours of Le Mans), a 2,967 mile race! He most recently raced with JDX Racing.
We are so excited to see these great Pros teamed up with the top fundraisers from Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing!

Please help us welcome Robb Holland to The 7th Annual Race Against Kids' Cancer ProAm! Robb is a Denver native who has been involved with MAF for many years and we are so grateful for his friendship!
Robb won two National Championships with the University of Colorado Boulder Cycling Team and competed professionally for 6 years against cyclists like Lance Armstrong and Greg LeMond.
Robb's 2012 debut on the British Touring Car Championship made him the first American to compete since 1975. He was also the first American driver to compete in the World Touring Car Championship. Robb recently competed in the 2017 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (Official Site), finishing 4th in his division and 27th overall.

We are ecstatic to announce that Randy Pobst will be competing in the first ever ProAm presented by Schomp MINI and Schomp BMW on Saturday at The 7th Annual Race Against Kids' Cancer!
Randy "The Rocket" Pobst is one of the top sportscar drivers in the world with over 70 professional wins and 10 professional Championships, including wins at Daytona 24 Hours in 2001 and 2006!
Randy currently hosts The Racing Line TV, writes for Motor Trend, tests cars and tracks, and regularly contributes to other racing media outlets.
Randy has participated in for many years and we are so grateful for his support again this year!

Please help us show our appreciation to Paul Gerrard for participating in the ProAm presented by Schomp BMW and Schomp MINI on Saturday at The 7th Annual Race Against Kids' Cancer!
Paul is a renowned professional race driver, precision/stunt driver, and driving instructor who has been around the racetrack in Europe and the US for decades. Before moving into stunt driving, Paul was the Chief of Special Projects at Skip Barber Racing School. Paul has also been featured on television shows like Top Gear, MythBusters, SuperCars Exposed, and many others.
Paul recently released his first book, The Optimum Drive, which has received great reviews from drivers and fans alike! He also competed in the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (Official Site) last month, taking 2nd place in his division and 13th place overall!
We can't wait to see you at High Plains Raceway this weekend!
