What could have been. We tried our best to make some lemonade out of the lemons thrown at us in the form of an issue with a turbo. The combination of perfectly executed pitstops and the strategy calls from the box being on point even found us in P1 in class (P2 overall) for a while. Ultimately however, the lack of power saw us fall back through the field despite Derek & Hampus turning laps at the top of their game.

We can’t thank all those who came out in support of us throughout the weekend enough. Big G enjoyed meeting all his new friends at Siebkens and on the grid, and Gizmo was up to his mischievous ways including over-indulging on cheese curds (his diet starts tomorrow).

Onto Barber.

Sooo…. That wasn’t ideal, but here’s the positive: the team as a whole fought through challenges all around today and both the 98 & 188 leave Road America higher in the points than when they came in while the 94 remains as the championship leader.

We are all immensely grateful for the safety of our BMWs that allowed Sam to walk away from a nasty incident this afternoon. There’s a lot of work ahead of the team, but we will rebuild and be back even stronger when we get to Barber next month. It’s just what we do.

There is no trash cannot - there is only Trash CAN.

Not a bad Race 1 for the GT4 cars this afternoon! Thomas Merrill did an awesome job filling in for Kenton Koch and brought the car home in 2nd place. After battling for several laps, Josh Green made the pass that brought 98 car onto the podium. And the 188 car fought back to a 4th place finish after starting in last place due to a mechanical issue with the car in qualifying. Looking forward to carrying this moment forward into tomorrow's Race 2! Come join us for the Autograph Session @ 11:30am and tune into Race 2 at 1:10pm CST.

Great results for both cars and the crew put in a tremendous effort. The 92 scored a top 10 while the 38 made up eight positions on its way to a P14 finish. Yet another one of those races this season where the results don’t speak for the awesomeness on everyone’s part.

Oh, and it was nice to finally see the sun!

Looking forward to taking this momentum to Indianapolis Motor Speedway next month.

Road America has a way of always keeping you on your toes! The IMSA Michelin Pilot Change Race yesterday was no exception… A wet start, drying track, cautions, and nonstop battles made for an action-packed afternoon.

The #92 of Robert Megennis and Nicky Hays was charging toward what looked like a top-five finish before an extra splash of fuel under caution shuffled us back a few positions. The team recovered brilliantly and kept us in the fight, but late-race contact ultimately brought an early end to a very promising run.

The #38 of Samantha Tan and Bill Auberlen kept moving forward all race long. After gaining positions on track and in the pits, they battled their way to P12, finishing under the final caution after another impressive charge through the field.

Hats off to our crew for adapting to constantly changing conditions and keeping both BMWs in the hunt.

Gizmo took on the very important role of team weatherman all race long and, by the end of the day, officially declared Wisconsin cheese curds to be race fuel... we're not about to argue with him! šŸ§€šŸ¦šŸ’š

Next up: VIR in just a few weeks!
