Ruidoso is doing so much better!

We already have people calling us on the phone asking for help. DO NOT come up here and go on the muddy forest roads or back roads, there’s a good chance you will get stuck. If it’s not graveled well, 4wd a lot of times will just get you more stuck. The only help that you can find up here is the Facebook off-road recovery group or the sheriffs department maybe.

And the rain continues… in the last three days we have received at our house, almost 4.5 inches with more rain in the forecast!
Not advisable to go driving on trails this weekend, a good way to get stuck.

We live outside of town on the way to Mayhill by the way. Pretty sure you can’t do this in Cloudcroft.

NEWS!
We just found out that First Brand’s Group, a global automotive parts supplier filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2025 and is now winding down certain operations. These operations include Cardone, Auto Lite, Raybestos, Centric Parts, Fram, Trico, Reese, Carter, Bulldog, Philips, Anco, Carlson, Reese, Petroclear, Michelin, Wesbar, Westfalia, Fulton, Bargman, StrongArm, Luber Finer, International Brake Industies INC, Hopkins, and Draw-Tite.

This would explain why we have had trouble getting certain wiper blade brands, our brake and rotor brands are getting harder to find, and our lightbulbs brands that we have access to keep changing. We assumed it was our warehouse, but there are major adjustments taking place to make sure that everyone has the parts that they need.
