We get it… Gas prices still SUCK. We feel it too.

We don’t want to raise them but the fuel industry is having some issues. So let us explain.

Gas went up significantly from Friday nights prices. That’s why you see a big difference between stations. Some sit on loads from a Sunday delivery, others got it recently. If they got it after 6 last night it’s even much more expensive than the day before.

Here’s what we know.
Refinery Disruptions: The Husky Lima refinery remains offline until late October, a facility in Kentucky experienced a major outage on October 16 causing terminal allocations, and the Joliet (IL) refinery reported operational issues over the weekend.
A chemical spill in North Toledo has triggered localized road and rail closures, while pipeline delays are slowing terminal resupply.
High Seasonal Demand: Global and regional diesel inventories remain low during peak fall demand.

Gas prices change at 6pm Monday- Friday. Whatever the price is on Friday at 6pm is what it is till Monday at 6pm when it changes again.

Some gas stations pay for what they sell that day for the cost posted at 6pm so imagine going to work not knowing if you are making $10 an hour or $50. That’s why some change quicker than others.

We understand everyone’s frustration but we gas station owners and staff are struggling too.

So please don’t me mean or rude to our staff. First they have no idea what cost is for us or what information we have gotten from our supplier. Second they have no control over what we have to sell it for. Just like we don’t control our cost.

Lastly, we have to keep the lights on, keep the staff paid and things working correctly. So when gas cost us more we have to raise the prices.

We’re looking for someone to join us at Webb’s Marathon! ⛽️

Our biggest thing is simply finding someone who is dependable, friendly and willing to work. Someone who shows up when they’re scheduled, is good with our customers and isn’t afraid to stay busy.

If you’ve applied with us online in the past and never heard anything back, please try again! We recently discovered that some of the application emails were going straight to our spam folder and unfortunately disappeared before we ever saw them. 😩 So if you thought we ignored you — we promise we didn’t!

If you’re interested, stop in and see us or send us a message. And if you know someone local who would be a great fit, please tag them or share this with them!

The “drive off” was in fact not a drive off and debts have been paid.

🇺🇸 Fourth of July Hours 🇺🇸

As we celebrate America’s 250th birthday, we want to wish everyone a safe and happy Fourth of July weekend!

⛽ Our convenience store and gas pumps will be open regular business hours to keep you fueled up for all your holiday travels and celebrations.

🔧 Our Service Department will be closed all day Friday, July 3rd, and will reopen with normal hours after the holiday weekend.

Before the fireworks begin, be sure to stop in for:

🍫 Snacks and road trip essentials

🚗 Festival Weekend Parking Notice 🚗

We’re excited to see everyone enjoying the festival this weekend! Unfortunately, we are not able to offer festival parking at Webb’s Marathon.

Our parking lot is reserved for customers actively visiting the store and service department. Due to our limited parking spaces, we need to keep those spots available for the people patronizing our business.

Please do not park on our property and leave your vehicle. Any unattended vehicles may be towed at the owner’s expense.

Additionally, parking over or blocking access to our fuel tanks is strictly prohibited. Fuel deliveries are scheduled throughout the weekend, and blocked access can create delays and additional costs for our business. Vehicles parked in these areas will be removed immediately.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to serve our customers during a busy festival weekend.
