It’s crazy to experience that much horsepower in person! Hopefully this video can give you somewhat of an idea what the experience was like.

Thank you PEAK Auto for bringing me out for such a fun first time experience!

Thank you for including me in such an amazing experience. I truly felt valued today.

Your support helped me feel more confident when leaning into my strengths. Especially during the interview, when tears started to fall. I felt safe to be myself and show emotion, allowing me to better communicate.

It fuels my drive to continuing pushing forward. To express gratitude, I am determined to DO SOMETHING with the opportunity you have presented.

I am so excited to see what the future brings and how we can make a bigger positive impact together.

Thank you KnKut Drill Bits for being such an understanding product sponsor. As a gearhead in training, it means the world to have encouragement to keep going, even when it’s scary to do new things.

Filled with excitement, nervousness and imposter syndrome, essentially feeling the whole spectrum of emotions as we get closer to this month’s Carmichael Chamber Luncheon!

I’ve spent some time every day, working on the outline for my 30 minute talk on social media. My goal is to approach with intent, so all of those who attend leave inspired and excited to connect more with their audience.

Will I see you there?

Still contemplating my options…

I don’t want it to look bad if I did use some scotch bright and then put some anti rust paint stuff on it. The space is awkward and I’m sure there will be spots I won’t be able to get to. Also, I’d worry a bit about overspray and messing up something else on accident.

On the other hand, it’s all opened up and yeah it isn’t a problem now… but I’d like to do whatever I can to have my car be in the best condition possible as I build up, rather than back track later.

I guess the biggest internal conflict is, if I leave it… will I regret that decision?

I’m doing my best to not look up and wonder about the conditions under the headliner too…. I’m not sure if they even peaked under there to see what that even looks like. The headliner itself looks great… what if it’s great underneath…. But… what if it’s not? Maybe something I can leave for when I tackle final paint… in the further future.

I’ve been a tad overwhelmed with all the questions and too many options, so I haven’t exactly been wrenching as much this last week.

Good news though, I’ll be learning how to use the KnKut drill bits soon. My brother in law has some scrap metal he said I could have, to practice with before drilling into the firewall.
