Plaza Truck Service has been family owned and operated since Alan Ashby bought the business in 1986. Alan introduced his eldest son, Andy, to the service department in 1988 and his youngest son, Jon, to the parts department in 1993. We are a full service truck & trailer repair shop and parts distributor. We also sell new & used trailers and offer rental trailers.

Qualified candidates should have experience in truck and trailer repair including, but not limited to, PMs; brake jobs; wheel seal replacement; electrical troubleshooting and repair. Welding, cutting, and fabrication experience is also helpful.

Working hours are Monday thru Friday from 7:30am to 5:00pm. No weekends.

Dennis Richardson has moved from working as a mechanic in our Service Department to working in our Parts Department! Dennis started as a mechanic at Plaza Truck Service in 2003. Although his skills in the shop will be missed, his many years of experience as a mechanic will be a big asset in the Parts Department. Dennis will not only be working with the Service Department to obtain parts for the shop, but will also work the parts counter. Scott and his wife, Elizabeth live in Brighton with their children. Scott worked for us at Plaza Truck Service from 1990 to 1994 as a mechanic. He had worked the past 26 years at Hogan Leasing in St. Louis. We are excited to welcome Scott back as a part of our Service team and look forward to working with him again. Scott will be the main contact in our Service Department and will work closely with Will and our Techs to provide the best customer experience possible!

To all our customers and friends, Happy New Year and good riddance to 2020! As we head into 2021 here at Plaza Truck Service, we have decided to make some changes, which we have been thinking about for some time. Thanks to our Customers and great employees, the last several years here have been very busy, especially in our repair shop. Moving forward we have decided to add the position of "Service Manager" to our Repair Shop team. With this addition, our goals are increased customer service and increased communication. Will Pitchford, our loyal employee of 30 years, will continue to be our Shop Foreman, as he has for many years. The new position of Service Manager will be filled by Scott Schepers. With Scott and Will working together we plan on providing excellent customer service and communication.
