Celebrating 10 Years in our Bulk Plant at 114 Cason Road!

It’s hard to believe that ten years have already passed since we opened the doors to our bulk plant and took a huge step forward in expanding business operations. From that exciting day until now, it’s been an incredible journey of growth, trial and error, success, and many, many lessons learned.

Steven Dupuis Oil originally operated a bulk plant in Opelousas from the 1960s through the early 1990s. In the late 90s, the focus shifted to common carrier business and jobbing convenience stores, helping Dupuis Oil transition into the new millennium. By 2008, our operations were down to two trucks hauling freight and fuel from local terminals. Seth was determined to revitalize the legacy that his grandfather, Steven "Reno" Dupuis, had started and his father, Charlie, had preserved. Truck by truck and load by load, Seth grew the business and rebuilt the legacy.

When the opportunity presented itself to move into 114 Cason Road and really expand Dupuis Oil, it wasn’t just about a change of location—it was about setting the stage for bigger and better things. Over the past decade, we've had the privilege of expanding our team, improving our services, and making meaningful connections with customers, partners, and the industry as a whole.

Our employees have proven to be the backbone of our success. We are proud of the team we have gathered here and that we send out onto the road to represent us. Please pray for their safety and the continued success of Steven Dupuis Oil.
