Great news for FFA kids! This bill originally includes 4-H programs but 4-H did not make it into the final bill. Contact your Iowa state senators and representatives to get 4-H added in the future.

Today, Governor Kim Reynolds signed SF 2219 into law, ensuring students can participate in school-sponsored activities like FFA without being penalized for absences. A big win for the next generation of agricultural leaders in Iowa!

This ICA-backed legislation supports experiential learning opportunities that help shape future leaders in agriculture through hands-on education, leadership development, and career exploration.
