"Why don't you guys offer delipped pistons for the 5.9L or 6.7L Cummins?" 🛠️

We get this question in the shop all the time, and the answer is simple: Cummins pistons are already delipped from the factory.

Unlike Ford and GM with narrow, sharp-rimmed bowls, modern Cummins pistons use a wide, open-bowl design that naturally distributes flame fronts without concentrating heat at the rim.

So what does your Cummins build need when you're turning up the power?
1️⃣ CNC Flycutting: Essential clearance for high-lift aftermarket cams (Hamilton, C**t, etc.) to stop valve-to-piston contact during valve float or heavy engine braking.
