Getting Vehicles Back to OEM Standards 🎯

At Nelms Body Shop, repairing the visible damage is only part of the job. Today, Tri Star ADAS is helping us make sure this vehicle’s advanced safety systems are properly calibrated and returned to OEM specifications after repairs.

If this old hat could talk… ❤️

Some things are worth more than money because of the story behind them.

This old hat has been hanging inside Nelms Bodyshop since March of 1969. Mr. Pete left it hanging here all those years ago, and more than 57 years later, it’s still here.

Think about everything this hat has watched happen beneath it—the cars that have come through the doors, the people who have worked here, the conversations, the repairs, and all the changes in Bolivar over the years.

Buildings change. Cars change. People come and go. But some things deserve to stay right where they are.

Mr. Pete’s hat is one of them.

We’re proud to be part of the history of Nelms Bodyshop and to keep serving our community today.

Ever wonder how we make a dent disappear without painting? 👀

Here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at Paintless Dent Repair (PDR).

We use glue pulling to carefully bring the dent slightly high, then use a knockdown to tap those high spots back down. We repeat that process little by little until the metal is flat again and the original paint stays intact.

It’s not magic—it’s patience, precision, and knowing how metal moves. 🔨✨
