Many of you know James Baxley, Sr. as the founder of Baxley's Auto Repair.

What you may not know is the journey behind the man.

For decades, James has been doing what he loves—working with his hands, solving problems, and helping people. Long before Baxley's Auto Repair became a trusted name in our community, he was learning his trade at local service stations, working underground in the Reynolds Mines, and building a reputation for honesty, hard work, and treating people right.

Those values became the foundation of Baxley's Auto Repair and continue to guide our business today.

From time to time, we'd like to share some of James's memories, along with old photographs and stories from the early days of the shop. We hope you'll enjoy getting to know the man behind the business and the journey that made Baxley's what it is today.

⏰ It was all over the news and radio this morning, so now we're curious...

Should we finally stop changing the clocks twice a year?

Since we work on vehicles every day, we know one thing... twice a year, somebody is trying to remember how to change the clock in their car! 😂🚗
