Happy Friday! Some cars are difficult to tint because they’re expensive. This C5 Corvette is difficult because the glass simply does not want to cooperate.

The extreme curvature of the Corvette’s glass makes these cars incredibly challenging to tint cleanly. Getting the film to properly shrink, form to the glass, and lay down without fingers, creases, or contamination takes patience, experience, and a talented installer who knows exactly what they’re doing.

That’s why older sports cars like this are not the jobs you want someone learning on.

This C5 came to Auto Evolution for ceramic window tint, and we took the time necessary to get it right. Clean film, clean installation, and a finished product that complements one of Chevrolet’s most recognizable generations of Corvette.
