8.48 at 162mph 🥇👑🏁

AMS Performance and Bobby's ALPHA 10 Q60 reclaim the VR30 crown! 👑 With a best run of 8.48 at 162mph over the weekend, Bobby's ALPHA 10 Q60 is now the quickest and fastest VR30 overall 🥇 Running the first 3 second 60-130 on the platform to boot. Rain brought an early end to the event, otherwise Bobby was looking to go even quicker! 8.48 at 162 and it's still got more in it 👀

Entering the weekend, the target time to beat was 8.89 ⏱️ On the first day of a three day event, Bobby went 8.82 at 158mph ✅ Reclaiming the record on just the third pass off the trailer on a new setup. A great start to the weekend, with two more days of competition still to go 👀 Bobby backed up that 8.82 with another 8.82, this time at 160mph. No one hit wonder, a testament to the hard work of the entire AMS Performance team.

But wait, there's more! Later in the day on Saturday, Bobby ran yet another record-breaking pass! 🏎️💨 This time, 8.76 at 160mph. Breaking the platform record three times in less than two days, still only halfway through the event. With the first two days of competition in the books, Miles combed through the logs to see where we were leaving time on the table. A few adjustments, a higher rev limit, and Bobby is ready for the final day of competition on Sunday 🏁

The first round of eliminations on Sunday brought one more record-breaking pass! The stars aligned and Bobby ran a stunning 8.48 at 162mph 🤯 Obliterating the previous record by more than 4 tenths of a second and 14mph, reclaiming the throne atop the VR30 platform 🤴 All in a day's work. While topping your previous personal best by half a second is something to celebrate, we know Bobby's ALPHA 10 Q60 still has even more in it! 🚀 How much exactly? Serious power on the other side of the world, and AMS hardware is a big part of how it gets there 🌏 Intakes, Flex Fuel Kit, Low Pressure Fuel Pump, Stage 1 High Pressure Fuel Pump, and a Heat Exchanger keeping temps in check 🔧

Fueling and cooling that can support a lot more than what's asking for it right now. Which is the point. A bigger turbo build is already in the plans, and more AMS parts are going on to support it 👀

Welcome to Fabrication. This is where a design stops being a file on a screen and becomes a real part. Material gets cut, fit, tacked and welded one piece at a time by a team that knows the difference between close and correct ⚙️

ALPHA is our power package system. Instead of guessing what a "Stage 2" or a "tune" gets you, ALPHA tells you straight up: the number in the name is the power target. 🎯

ALPHA 12 = 1,200 WHP. ALPHA 20 = 2,000 WHP. These numbers represent the target power for each package, with results designed to get as close to that target as possible. Dyno results may vary depending on the car. 🔥

Every package is built and calibrated by our engineers for your specific platform. Currently we have packages for the Nissan GT-R, Nissan Z, Audi R8, Lamborghini Huracan, and Infiniti Q50/Q60, with more on the way. 🚀

Luke's ALPHA 28 R8 is finished and headed back to him. 🔧

Luke's ALPHA 28 R8 has become one of the cars we're proudest to have our name on. This is a full ALPHA 28 build from the ground up: a fully built engine on a billet block, backed by our G45-1600 turbo kit and a Stage 6+ transmission build with components, built to handle everything that turbo can throw at it. Full AMS suspension setup keeps it planted, and a wheel/tire drag pack puts the power down. There's a lot more to it than fits in one post, but that's the foundation this car is built on. 📦

This round wasn't about chasing a bigger number. 📈 It was about keeping everything as sharp as the results it's already put up. New fuel lines went in for better flow, and the car got a full round of tuning along with a complete inspection to make sure everything's still exactly where it needs to be. 🔍

Up front is where you'll notice it most. 👀 The Matts Performance carbon hood got a custom paint job, vents left exposed so the carbon does the talking. Out back, we moved to a fixed rear wing panel, ditching the active aero setup for something simpler and more consistent. 🏎️

At TX2K26, Luke and his ALPHA 28 R8 brought home two trophies: 1st place in Roll Racing Unlimited Class and 2nd place in DCT/GTR Class 1 - Elite drag racing. 🏆
