In addition to being a leader in the automotive performance parts manufacturing industry, we offer in-house engine computer calibration, parts and package installations, as well as engine and transmission building services. First and foremost AMS is an engineering company. Unlike other shops, our parts are engineered to be the best performing components you can buy. Most manufacturers in the industry have a basic understanding of engine performance but at AMS we take it far past that using computer aided designs and mechanical engineers with years of motorsports experience. Brandon Deam is our Build Specialist. He figures out what you want out of the car, makes sure the shop builds it right, and stays with it from drop-off until it's back in your hands 🔧

Simple build or dedicated race car, the goal is the same: hand the keys back to a customer who's smiling 🤝

He's been at AMS five years across two stints, and he's a JDM guy at heart. Talon TSi first, then a 240SX for a long time. Right now? A Model Y. Don't hate him 😅 He's between builds, but not for long 🛠️

Our shop WRX is getting its new coilovers installed and getting ready for Subiefest Midwest 🔥

Over the course of testing, our 2022 WRX has gone through the factory turbo and seven different bolt-on turbo upgrades on the Dynojet, giving us the opportunity to see what this platform is capable of with each setup. 💨

With the turbo it's running now, the WRX made over 500 WHP on E60. That’s with our AMS intake, front-mount intercooler, J-pipe, downpipe, cat-back, and our soon-to-be-released turbo inlet pipe 👀

Now it's getting the suspension to match. Come see the shop WRX in person Saturday, October 10 at Subiefest Midwest. Find the AMS booth for products, merch, and a closer look. 🧢

Snailworks, the engineering division at AMS, is hiring a Mechanical Engineer. 🛠️

You'd design parts for turbocharged platforms from intake filter to exhaust tip, then take them through prototyping, testing and production yourself. You also support them after they ship. ⚙️

The role is full time at our HQ in the western suburbs of Chicago. 📍 We offer relocation packages for out-of-state candidates. 🚚
